Disciple Types Podcast

I want more!!! Today, I learned which of the 12 Disciples I was most like - which led me to this podcast, and I’m so grateful! Llistening to this podcast, it all made so much sense!! I could relate to what was shared, and it also helped give me words to describe why I am the way I am, what encourages me to step out of my comfort zone, and even how others perceive me! But my favorite part is that this is centered around Jesus, and was amazing to see His intentionality in partnering the Disciples because it brought the best out of each other. It’s one thing to do a personality test, but this brings it to life in such a powerful way. Now I see why I was always identifying with a certain Disciple!! And for the content of this podcast - it’s lively, it’s interesting, it’s packed with wisdom and revelation. I hope more is to come!!

As someone who relates most closely with a primary aspect of reason (I fall under the James the Justice category), I found this podcast to be as satisfying intellectually as it is spiritually. It truly helped me better understand my relationship with religion…I always assumed my need for concrete proof in all things distanced me from God, but know now that skepticism is actually just a reflection of His nature. I encourage all Christians to listen to this to get a better understanding not only of your own disciple type, but also to help see how those around you might relate to the disciples / God as well!

This podcast helped me to view my relationship with Jesus from a new perspective and in turn helped me to interact with my fellow Christians differently. It caused me to see more clearly how the different parts of the body of Christ work together and how I best fit into it. I would encourage every church goer to give it a listen; not only to find out more about yourselves, but also to see how other Christians may approach an aspect of their faith differently and that that’s ok; they just reflect Him differently.
