Megan Bell’s podcast, My Aunt Is a Nun, is simply wonderful. The stories she shares of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace are inspirational. I was touched by the sisters’ strength and wisdom, but also their simplicity and humility. Listening to their journeys to find faith and meaning in life, reminded me of the many strong nuns who were role models to me in my school years and in my adult life.
Megan balances the nuns’ narratives with her own comments and reflections with ease. She is both articulate and insightful in her conversations with the sisters yet does so in a manner that puts the spotlight on the individual sister’s story. What a blessing for Megan to be connected to these wonderful women. After listening to this podcast, I felt I knew them personally too.
