    Celebrating Dependence on God

    This conversation reminded me of how sweet of a place it is to be in full dependence on God. Shelbs always reminds me of the importance of saying yes and walking in what God has called you to.     Choosing to Celebrate

    You get to hear from me (Emma) today---short, sweet and honestly just me preaching the Gospel to myself. I have been reminded how firm the rock of Jesus is that we stand on. And I'm choosing to praise God today even though the hype isn't there. He is so worthy of our praise! Psalm 103 reminds me of that--check it out today!

    Celebrating God's Faithfulness

    When I asked Cassie about being a part of this, she responded: "I have always said if I have the opportunity to share about Jesus, I will take it! So sign me up to talk about how good and faithful God is!"  And we did just THAT. God is so mighty in her! This conversation reminds me of the transformative power of the Gospel and how worthy God is of our hearts and lives. CHECK IT OUT!     Caitlyn is who I want to be when I grow up, and I have loved the way God has allowed our paths to cross over the past several years! She has such a heart for the Gospel and the people around her. I have been so challenged by the ways that she so boldly loves her neighbor! You will love hearing her love for sports as well as the practical advice she gives in choosing hope in the day to day!

    Rusty Stroupe

    Rusty Stroupe is so much more than a baseball coach even though that is what he did for a majority of his life. He is a truth speaker and a friend to all. He will make you laugh and also point you to Jesus. I am SO thankful for this conversation. God has used Coach Stroupe in my life in such a big way. You will love hearing about his memories in the sports world and how his foundation of HOPE made everything worth while!

    Jake DeLaney

    WELCOME TO SEASON 5! This season takes a look into the lives of individuals within the athletic world who choose HOPE in the midst of a world that naturally has a lot of hype. Jake DeLaney is the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Gardner-Webb University as well as a faithful follower of Jesus. This conversation has some DEEP hope, and our prayer is that you will walk away knowing God better and knowing the HOPE to which you have been called.  We would love to dedicate this episode in loving memory of Jane Delaney.  "Barbara Jane DeLaney arrived at her eternal home with Jesus at the age of 58 in Birmingham, AL, on Monday, August 23, 2021. She died after a four-year battle with Multiple Myeloma. Jane was known for her deep and abiding love for Jesus Christ which overflowed into everything she lived for. She was a fiercely faithful friend, a fighter for the helpless, a devoted wife to her love, and a champion mother to her adoring children. Jane was a deep well of wisdom, a natural leader and a creative artist at heart. She has left a legacy of love in her wake and will be deeply missed by all who knew her" (Obituary of Barbara Jane DeLaney in Dignity Memorial 2021).
