I have taken the leap. I have given up my full time job to peruse what lights me up, what sets my soul on fire. I have nothing and have no expectations but long so deeply to set up my own business and free myself from any form of 9-5 job. I always get to hear other peoples success stories but never get to experience the process.     Materialism as a coping mechanism

    I now have the time and space to reflect upon old habits and using materialism as a coping mechanism to fill my lack of purpose and passion is definitely pretty evident. I would buy things without giving it any thought, just to spark that instant of excitement. Stepping back from this vicious cycle is interesting and insightful. Amy x

    Feeling guilty

    Today I have felt great guilt having left my job. I am living at home with my dad, I am not paying rent and my savings are diminishing as I begin to worry about where I will get my next source of income from. Nevertheless, I am the sky, everything else is just the weather and this process isn´t going to be smooth but my soul knows it will be worth it. Amy x

    Transmuting anxiety into passion

    It is inevitable that anxiety and fear are going to join me on my journey as I carve a new life for myself. Nevertheless, I will not let it be the driving force behind my decisions but instead transmute my anxiety as to impel my passion for a more aligned life. Amy x

    I surrender to the ebbs and flows

    For years I have used rigidity as a coping mechanism, fighting against nature in a bid to expel any negative thoughts or situations which make me feel uncomfortable. This year I am committed to ebbing and flowing, surrendering and letting the magic back into my life, I welcome you to join me. Amy x

    A new beginning

    I am making the decision to follow my heart, my souls calling. I have given up a job which felt completely out of alignment with myself and I am documenting my journey. Next month I will receive no income. Join me as I choose to fill my life with things that light me up and see if it allows me to live a joyous and prosperous life! Amy x
