    Breaking Free of the Rules

    Breaking Free of the Rules

In this episode, Therese shares the journey she's been on to listen to energy and notice what pulls her in to business offerings, and also to what feels like it's ready to be retired.

Truth is, we are taught to follow certain marketing rules. We are conditioned that we should charge "x" amount and go after high ticket clients to position ourselves. We are shown formulas and blueprints that have worked for some savvy marketers, but what if they don't serve you or your soul's mission in the world?

Therese talks about creating her new Activate Community membership. The way she started it flies in the face of conventional marketing wisdom!

With ZERO sales page, not even a name, and no emails sent, Therese made the decision to open up the community to 20 "founders." She shares how she made personal invites and has grown the community simply from that.

This show is very inspirational if you have ever dealt with having to be perfect, get all the pieces in place before you can act, and have felt like you are held hostage to the old ways of doing business. You will get tons of permission to follow your energy in saying yes to things, and also letting things go.

Therese's path is to always be listening to the guidance of her soul, and when it takes her to new territories, she models how she navigated that so that you too can do the same.

Living Life Outside Your Comfort Zone

Living Life Outside Your Comfort Zone

Therese Skelly is a former psychotherapist who has 20 years in the coaching industry, and now blends her deep knowledge of psychology/mindset with business coaching and wildly accurate business intuition.

In this episode she shares about pushing the edges of her comfort zone and what that taught her.

Since she’s writing a chapter for a book, she sought the services of a creativity/writing coach. Hearing the stories Therese was sharing, the coach invited her to participate in a “Story performance” in a few weeks.

Deciding to share a very intimate story, Therese “went for it.” The story was not a “safe” one to tell like the time she went on vacation. No. It shared about past abuse, trauma, and overcoming what had been done to her by saying yes to something.

The zoom performance was exhilarating, and at the end, the idea of being waaaay out of her comfort zone was quite transformative. (Plus she got great feedback on the quality and courage of her performance and people shared with her that her story helped the as well.)

Therese shares how being “comfortable” is something we strive for, but ultimately doesn’t create expansion and growth.

This show will inspire you to take more risks, play in creative energy, and live more richly.

Steps to Tangible Transformation with David Richman

Steps to Tangible Transformation with David Richman

David is an author, public speaker, and endurance athlete whose mission is to form more meaningful human connections through storytelling. Over the last 10 years, David has completed over 50 triathlons, including 15 Ironman-distance triathlons (2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike, 26.2-mile run), more than 50 runs longer than marathon distance, including several 24-hour runs, and most recently biking 4,700-miles in just six weeks as he met with the participants of his upcoming book exploring the emotional side of cancer.

In this episode, David shares that years ago he was in an abusive, unhealthy marriage with small children. On the outside he had it all. Money, success, and nice trappings. But he was married to an alcoholic so felt stuck, victimized, and didn’t understand what he was doing wrong or how to get out of this. He was an overweight, sedentary smoker. It wasn’t until his friend got real with him and said, “Quit blaming everyone one else…You are the problem!”

This was the hard truth that he needed to hear so he could begin to change his life. This forced David to start what would become his healing journey. He began slowly to discover who he was, and from here began to take small steps to create the new and healthier version of himself.
David's fitness journey is inspiring! And it started by setting small goals initially, then having the mindset of “what can I learn” if he pushed himself. He found he could go farther and farther, and it slowly turned into something that today defines who he is. He also lost his sister to cancer, so he set about to help those with cancer and today has written a book about cancer survivor stories.

You will enjoy David’s easy going way of sharing his three steps to create change. He speaks from the heart, is not afraid to share the vulnerable stuff, and is doing really good in the world.

David Richman is an author, public speaker, and endurance athlete whose mission is to form more meaningful human connections through storytelling. His first book, Winning in the Middle of the Pack, discussed how to get more out of ourselves than ever imagined. With Cycle of Lives, David shares stories of people overcoming trauma and delves deeply into their emotional journeys with cancer. He continues to do Ironman triathlons and recently completed a solo 4,700-mile bike ride.

Finding the Magic in the Tragic with Georgia Hansen

Finding the Magic in the Tragic with Georgia Hansen

Georgia (aka Georgie) Hansen is an eclectic mix of PR, marketing communications savvy, and soulful intuitive wisdom with a deep understanding of human communication, collaboration, and connection. She is trained as a transformational intuitive guide, and priestess of non-local consciousness, who is trauma informed and embodied. She uses this along with her communications, PR and publishing expertise to look through the cracks and help women connect with their highest self and purpose, especially angel mamas who are seeking to find meaning after loss. Georgie helps them to find the beauty, and wonder in their story, and shines a light on it. She is also an “Angel mama” as she suffered a huge loss. And on this episode, you will hear how that experienced transformed her.

This show is such a beautiful, raw story about Georgia's daughter Amelia who was a stillborn and what happened as a result.

As she says, this isn't the natural order of things, so there was of course shock and tons of feelings to process, but Georgia had "known" Amelia for years before. And upon discovering that her previously perfect pregnancy resulted in her delivering a dead baby, Georgia reported feeling her spirit in the room and then getting a huge message from God that as long as she processed it all, it would be okay.

That meant she dove in, allowed for all the grief, navigated the journey, and today understands that that occurred because her daughter had a legacy to teach and share. So she partnered with another woman who had also lost a baby to create a unique community of support.

Georgia today helps moms who have had "angel babies" because there are few resources and it's very difficult for most people to even try to process this kind of loss.

This show not only shares the journey Georgia took, but the patterns in our society that make it difficult to process and talk to someone who is grieving. It’s very touching and shows the resilience and what happens when grief takes on a new meaning.

Georgia Hansen is the CEO and Founder of GM House - a soulful Publishing and PR company, an international best-selling author, and holds two decades of experience within the PR, Marketing and communications industry. Using her voice and light to shine on and amplify the voices of extraordinary humans who are ready to be seen and share their message. She has an uncanny ability to see through the gaps and hold the highest vision for those she is spotlighting. She is a speaker herself and helps others to be seen and heard on various podcasts, summits and media.

Georgie is a wife to Ben, and mother to four babies residing earthside and one in heaven. Her mission and vision as an advocate for Angel Mamas is to shift a paradigm around loss and grief by sharing her powerful story and teaching there is Grace and Magic to be found in all of it.

The Angel Mama House was created to support mothers who have experienced the loss of a little angel. It's a place for mamas to come home to, find solace, safety, connection, and guidance so that they can live a beautiful life full of grace & magic, even after loss >> https://www.angelmamahouse.com/

Growing a Business by Staying in the Moment with Yoni Kachlon

Growing a Business by Staying in the Moment with Yoni Kachlon

Today, Yoni Kachlon has a very successful dog training business. His company, Balancing Paws, Dog Training offers world class dog training and rehabilitation programs in the Phoenix area. With one of the highest success rates in Arizona, He is often the last stop for most dog owners who have tried just about everything. (The changes he’s made in Therese’s dog have been unbelievable!)

In this episode Yoni shares how he got his start. At age 21, his parents cut off their financial support. He could either move back in with them or figure out how to make money to support himself. Since he wanted freedom, moving back and being under their control was not something he was interested in. So he had to get creative. He decided that since he constantly walked and worked with his beloved dog Jasmine, that he could start a dog walking business. This was the start of his entrepreneurial journey. Much of what has created his success was Yoni’s willingness to keep growing and learning from experts. He shares that he got to be mentored by Cesar Milan, and from that point on, determined to work on all aspects of his life.

We talk about what it takes to stay on the path when things get hard, and for Yoni, much of it comes from staying in the moment, and focusing on what is working. You will love the wisdom he shares and the very balanced approach to life that he has. If you are a dog lover, you’ll also appreciate the lessons and applications he shares from training dogs and how they apply to your life and business.

Yoni Kachlon believes that any dog, no matter the breed, upbringing, or temperament, can be loving and docile while retaining the playful energy that makes them so enjoyable as companions.

While in college, Yoni adopted a young pit bull named Jasmine. Everyone thought that it was a huge mistake. Nevertheless, he took on the task of raising Jasmine the way he thought was right, and she responded by being the most caring, loving, and gentle dog anyone could ask for. During his senior year in college though, he learned that his family could no longer afford to pay his tuition. Going home to find a job would mean giving up Jasmine.

That’s what led Yoni to the idea of opening his own dog care service, allowing him to accommodate the need for a job, while still giving Jasmine the love and attention she (and all dogs) need. In September of 2012 he was fortunate enough to win the Training Cesar’s Way sweepstakes to go meet and train under the world-famous “Dog Whisperer” and his team of elite trainers, Brian Agnew and Cheri Lucas, in Santa Clarita California.

Since then, the business has expanded, and he has focused his efforts on helping as many dogs and their owners as possible. Using his Four Phase Fundamental Training Program, he's been able to work with many owners live and online!
