How to hype yourself & brand yourself... but not compare yourself with Lucy Werner

Welcome to our bonus episode with Lucy Werner, the founder of The Wern, a boutique consultancy for publicity & design.

She has 17-years of publicity experience both in-house and for some of London’s top agencies. In May 2021, she created HypeYourself.com an online DIY PR & brand platform for small businesses. She has written a best-selling book Hype Yourself and her second book Brand Yourself is available for pre-order now, written with the co-founder of her two children and creative director Hadrien Chatelet.

Lucy has worked with hundreds of creative entrepreneurs and teaches on all things publicity for spaces such as Cass Business School, Hatch Enterprise, UAL, Courier magazine, and Second Home.

Lucy Werner demystified PR for small businesses in the bestselling Hype Yourself: now she and her husband Hadrien are doing the same for branding. Power to the small business people!

    SHOW NOTES

Buy the book: 50% of all profits will go towards Lucy and Hadrien's Great Ormond Street Fund. Lucy finished her first book as her second child was in and out of cardiac intensive care, she had to return five days after the launch of Hype Yourself for his fourth round of open-heart surgery. The small business community rallied round to her support and this their way to give back to other parents and children like them: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/lucywerner
