    The sisters’ delve into one of their favourite animated films growing up: Disney’s 1998 adaptation of Mulan. The action! The adventure! The comic relief! Will this 90’s American interpretation of a Chinese legend withstand the test of time? Maybe. Will Pauline and Lisa enjoy talking about it anyway? Of course!

    Pauline could not be more excited with the movie she’s picked for this week! And Lisa could not be more ready to guess what it is. How long until the mystery title is revealed? Not long. Will there still be quotes and randomness and laughter along the way? Of course! So dial up the volume and join the sisters as they play their favourite movie game.

    135: Great! You’ve Killed the Invisible Swordsman!

    Who wants to talk about an 80’s western parody? We do! It’s time for “The Three Amigos!” Starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Chevy Chase, this cult classic is a film that was constantly being watched and constantly being quoted in the Brunnen house. A comedy that was not a kid’s movie, it’s safe to say little Pauline and Lisa had quite a few misunderstandings regarding this film. How does it hold up during the rewatch? Is it worthy of its cult status? Or is this another film the sisters wish they’d left in the past? Tune in and find out!

    134: Would Everybody Just Calm Down For The Love of God And All That is Holy?

    The sisters review “Return to Me”, a little-known romantic comedy starring David Duchovny and Minnie Driver. Seriously, have any listeners ever heard of it before? Adored by Pauline and Lisa as teenagers and surprisingly impactful on their understanding of relationships, this film was in constant replay in the house. But, 24 years later, does it still hold up? Are the sisters still enamoured with the characters? Or is this another film that was better left in the past? The one in and find out!

    At long last, Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing” is being discussed. We know you were all waiting desperately to find out how this film held up. Weren’t you? Starring Kenneth Branagh, Emma Thompson, Michael Keaton, Denzel Washington, and Keanu Reeves, this 90’s interpretation is remembered remarkably fondly by little Lisa and Pauline. Especially given they had no idea what it was about. Is it worth rewatch? Let’s find out!
