    Psalm 1 - Pray with me

    In this episode we are reminded that God blesses us for our faithfulness in obedience and seeking righteousness. Righteousness is standing right in the presence of God only if we believe in Jesus because Jesus is God in human flesh who died for our sins and rose again from the dead. This episode reminds us to read the Bible often, obey God's commandments and recognise God's sovereignty. Be encouraged that God knows the future and promises blessings for the righteous!     By only obeying Jesus adds value to our lives.

    Many of us become consumed in doing charity without the desire to glorify God alone. Many of us think that we can do good deeds and expect God to reward us. However, God is not interested in how much good deeds we do unless we intend to represent who God is in our lives. People who do good works and are not in an active relationship with Jesus WILL NOT get a reward from God. Only people who are controlled by the Holy Spirit and who seek to give Jesus the glory in every deed are truly rewarded because they are truly alive with God. May God help all of us to glorify Him alone with the good works we do and not glorify ourselves!
