Mama Herrera’s Corner

My friends and family often tell me that my life stories, experiences, and outlook can help others who are like me; gay, a person of color, and Jewish. My friends often describe me as the overly cautious one, the mother of the group, and someone who is always willing to give a pep talk that later would be coined; good ol' fashioned "Mama Herrera Pep Talks".My goal is to have my listeners become strengthened, be given hope, and feel seen. We live in a time when people are surrounded by disinformation, hate, and division. I want to be a bridge to all persons; no matter their identity.
