    EMMAUS // Richie Christie

    Today Richie is talking about how Jesus meets the disciples on the road to Emmaus. The disciples had an expectation, a picture in their minds of what Jesus would be like, and when things didn’t match that, they struggled to see what was actually right in front of them. But what if the reason they didn’t recognize Him right away is because they were so set on how they thought the story was supposed to go? And maybe that’s true for us too. Sometimes we miss what God is doing because it doesn’t look how we expected, but that doesn’t mean He isn’t there.
