Identify

In this episode I start by reviewing Sadhguru’s interview on impact theory. I discuss the irony of not identifying with your upbringing and socialization, but needing these outlines to determine who you are and where you stand. I talk about my journey of identifying who I am. How fulfilling others expectations led me to quitting school, asking questions, and shaving my head. I’ve realized beliefs evolve as we do, and the more desperately we hold them, the more difficult it is to move forward.

Lift Heavy Shift

In this episode I discuss Amber Khan’s definition of confidence: feeling capable. I connect how I’ve harnessed this confidence in lifting weights. The key components are competency, doing it alone, and feeling comfortable. I explain my belief that you can harness this feeling and apply to other areas of your life.
