The additional demands for mental health care has come at a time where Australia’s mental health system is already broken. The mental health workforce is gradually growing, demand for services has significantly increased but its capacity hasn't. Podcast is a conversion of the Facebook Live Event and is not about mental health awareness, there's so much out already out there about that and to the point that everyone is AWARE, we need to move past awareness – this is about what do we do when someone NEEDS help, what is it that we ACTUALLY do when we ask “Are you ok?” How do we DEAL with that, be a good listener, a good friend and a good HELP.
