    Why Do I Still Feel Guilty After I Repent? (The 4 Steps to Real Repentance)

    #205 // You took it to God. You said what you did. You meant it. But it's still weighing heavy on you. Why? So, now you're wondering what's wrong with you. Why it didn't lift. Why you keep going back to confess the same thing like maybe this time it'll stick, and it never does. Sister, here's what I need you to hear: If you're still carrying guilt and shame, you probably haven't fully repented yet. Not all the way. You likely missed a step. But the good news is, you can get all the way there. Real repentance produces relief and gratitude. If that's not what's on the other side of it, you got stopped somewhere. There are four steps, and almost all of us are getting stuck on the same one. In this episode I'm walking you through all four, so you can find the exact place you're stuck and get moving again. Grab your Bible, your journal and a pen, and… Let’s Go! Here's what we get into: → IS THIS CONVICTION OR IS THIS CONDEMNATION? They feel similar enough that most believers can't tell them apart, which is exactly why so many of us stay stuck. There's one difference you can feel in your body, and once you know it you'll never confuse them again. → WHY DOES IT KEEP GETTING HARDER? What happens when you stop at step two and call it done. There's a reason the same thing comes back stronger every time, and Jesus warned us about it directly. → WHAT ARE THE FOUR STEPS? Awareness. Conviction. Repentance. Fruit. Where each one starts, what each one actually feels like, and the only one of the four where another person can help you. → HOW DO I KNOW IT WAS REAL? There's a test, and it isn't how sorry you felt. Jesus said wisdom is proved by her children. Repentance works the same way, and the fruit is specific enough that you can check yourself. Listen, Sis… there's joy waiting on the other side of this.     Saying Sorry Isn't Repentance (What God's Standard Actually Requires)

    #204 // You know somebody who keeps saying sorry. Same apology, same tears maybe. And then the same thing happens again a few weeks later. Or maybe the person you're thinking of is you. Here's where most of us get tangled up. We've been taught that repentance is feeling bad about what we did. So we feel bad. We say sorry. We promise God we'll do better. And then we go around the same mountain again, and we cannot figure out why the cycle won't break. Sister, that's not repentance. That's not even close. In this episode I'm walking you through God's actual standard for repentance, straight out of Leviticus 23 and Psalm 51, so you can finally see what's really going on and what actually needs to get fixed. Grab your Bible and press play! Here's what we get into: → WHY DOES NOTHING CHANGE AFTER I APOLOGIZE? There's a line between being sorry and being repentant, and almost nobody has been shown where it is. Everything downstream of it is different. → WHY DOES MY PRAYER TIME FEEL EMPTY? Moses walked out of the tent of meeting with his answer. Joshua stayed. One of those two is how most of us pray… and it's costing us about 80% of what God had waiting in there. → WHAT DOES GOD ACTUALLY REQUIRE? He names it Himself in Leviticus 23, and it's one word most believers have never looked up. What it means in the Hebrew is nothing like what we've assumed it means. → WHAT ABOUT WHEN THE CONSEQUENCE IS ALREADY COMING? David already knew what it was going to cost him. He went low anyway. What he prayed in Psalm 51 is the standard, and it exposes what most of us are actually doing when we say we've repented. Listen, Sis… you've been wearing yourself out trying to fix what you broke. The walls can be rebuilt. But not by trying harder or utilizing some “hybrid” form of repentance (that isn’t really repentance anyways). Let’s lean into full surrender today and actually see this thing break.     Is it Biblical to Cut Someone Off? (What the Bible Says About Boundaries)

    #203 // Maybe you've got a person in mind. Someone who hurt you. Someone who drains you. And you're wondering if you're finally allowed to be done. You've drawn that line before. More than once. And they stepped right over it again. So, now you're asking God the question you've been circling for a while now:    Am I allowed to cut this person off? Here's where most of us get tangled up:  We've been taught that the point of a boundary is to protect ourselves. Get the toxic people out. Protect your peace. Cut them off and move on.  Sister, that's not the whole truth. And the piece that's missing is the reason your boundaries keep collapsing. Here's what we're getting into on this episode of the Positioned to Prosper Podcast: → AM I ALLOWED TO WALK AWAY? There are two very different things tangled up inside "cutting someone off," and God doesn't answer them the same way. Pulling them apart is what finally makes this question answerable. → WHY WON'T MY BOUNDARIES STICK? Every boundary you've ever set got built on top of something. There are only two options for what that something is… and one of them guarantees the line collapses. → WHAT DOES A BIBLICAL BOUNDARY EVEN LOOK LIKE? Not what most of us were handed. And once you see what it's actually supposed to be built on, you'll understand why enmeshment, codependency and manipulation could never get a grip on it. → IS GOD FOR ME OR FOR THEM? Joshua asked the commander of the Lord's army that exact question, standing outside Jericho. The answer came back in one word… and it wasn't either one. Your walls and your gates may have been burned down. That doesn't mean they can't be rebuilt.     Is Anxiety a Sin? (What God Really Means by “Do Not Fear”)

    #202 // God says do not fear. But your heart's pounding, your stomach's in knots, and now you feel guilty about the anxiety on top of the anxiety. So is feeling it the sin? No, Sister. And in this week's episode of Positioned to Prosper, we're getting into how this actually works, both scripturally and physiologically. Here's where most of us get tangled up... We read "do not fear" and we hear "you're not allowed to feel afraid." So, every time our body reacts, we assume we've already failed. That's not what God is commanding.  The sensation of fear is going to come. But there's a difference between feeling fear and bowing to it, and once you can tell those two apart, obeying God on this stops feeling impossible. Here's what we're getting into: → IS IT A SIN THAT I'M AFRAID RIGHT NOW? The difference between the sensation of fear and agreeing with it, and why confusing those two has kept you condemned instead of free → WHEN THE VERSE STOPS "WORKING." What 2 Timothy 1:7 actually says in the Amplified, and what to do when a scripture you've quoted a hundred times has started to sound like white noise → WHEN YOUR BODY IS RUNNING THE SHOW.     The Kingdom of God is Within You (Here’s What That Actually Means)

    #201 // You feel it. That pull that says you were made to carry something significant. Something that matters. Something for God. Then you look at your actual Tuesday. The laundry, the inbox, the school pickup, the thing that didn't go the way you planned. And that feeling of significance gets real quiet. You start to wonder if you're doing enough, if any of it's even working, if the big thing God put in you is ever going to look like anything from the outside. If that's you, there's something in this week's episode of Positioned to Prosper that's going to take the pressure off completely. Because Jesus said the Kingdom of God isn't out there and it isn't someday. It's inside you, right now. And what's growing in there is bigger than you think. What Jesus meant in Luke 17 when He said the Kingdom doesn't come with observation, and why you've been searching the outside for something that lives on the inside → THE PRESSURE-RELIEF OF THE MUSTARD SEED.     Why the Strongest Women Break (And What to Do Instead)

    #200 // You're the strong one. The high-capacity one who holds it all together when everything's falling apart. But the very strength you've been relying on might be the thing most likely to break you.     What the Enemy Says Right Before Your Breakthrough

    #199// There's a moment right before your breakthrough when everything in you wants to quit. If you're in it right now, do not believe what you're hearing. You know the voice. "I can't do this. It's too hard. This can't be God, because if it were, it wouldn't hurt like this." I said every one of those things during my own nervous breakdown this past February.  So hear me in this: That voice in your head is not a sign you've failed. It's a sign your breakthrough is closer than it has ever been. In the last episode we talked about how God's holy demolition is the first step of full restoration. This week we're getting into what happens in the "pregnant pause" — the space between the clearing out and the rebuilding, where the enemy makes his hardest play for your life, and where your real breakthrough gets decided. In this week's episode -- it's the message I shared this past Sunday at REVIVE Church of Tampa -- I'm walking you through the surrender that carries you all the way through to the other side. Here's what we get into: → THE LIES IN THE PAUSE. The exact coping mechanisms the enemy offers you in the space between demolition and restoration, and why hearing them means breakthrough is imminent → OFFENSE IS THE BAIT.
