    EP: 14 - History of America (In Hindi) | अमेरिका का इतिहास

    Despite being a world superpower, a lot of Indians still don't know a lot about US history. We had a few chapters about it in high school, but that wasn't enough. Who came to the US first? Who were the ancestors? Who are the founding fathers? What is Thanksgiving? How did the US become a superpower? How did the US overcome the cruel past of slavery and elected Barack Obama as their 1st African American President?  Since a lot of people don't have the time to read books, and that too about the history of a different country, I thought about telling it in form of a story in chronological order. Because stories are fun! This episode is in Hindi so I (hope) can reach a lot of people in India. I am not a Historian, but I am living in the US since 2015 and am some sort of a history buff. So please forgive me for any incorrect facts and bear with my Hindi!  *A lot of this material was based on the series "America: The story of us" by the History Channel. Credits to them. It is on Amazon Prime if you want to watch it. It is a 10 episode documentary. Highly recommended.  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- अमेरिका दुनिया का सबसे शक्तिशाली देश होकर भी इसके इतिहास के बारे में काफी लोगो को अब भी जानकारी नहीं है| स्कूल में आठवीं नौवीं कक्षा में इसके इतिहास के बारे में दो या तीन चैपटर थे लेकिन वो काफी नहीं था| इस देश के पूर्वज कौन है, वो कहाँ से आए थे, कैसे उन्होंने इस देश को विशाल बनाया, अफ्रीकन अमेरिकन लोग यानी काली चमड़ी वाले लोग कैसे इस देश में आए, कैसे उन्होंने ज़ुल्म सहे, कैसे इन सब चीजों को पीछे छोड़ अमेरिका ने बराक ओबामा को अपना पहला अफ्रीकन अमेरिकन राष्ट्रपति चुना, ये काफी दिलचस्प कहानी है| अब क्योंकि लोगों के पास टाइम कम है तो मैने सोचा लोगों को कहानी सुनाकर अमेरिका के इतिहास के बारे में बता देते हैं| तो इसलिए आज का एपिसोड हिंदी में है ताकि ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोगों तक ये कहानी पहुँच सकें| मैं कोई इतिहासकार नहीं हूँ लेकिन 2015 से अमेरिका में रह रहा हूँ तो थोड़ी बहुत जानकारी है| अगर कोई चीज़ ग़लत बोल दी तो माफ़ कर देना और यार हिंदी को थोड़ा संभाल लेना| स्कूल के बाद पहली बार इतनी शुद्ध हिंदी बोल रहा हूँ|
