In this podcast we discuss and review both the Chelsea and Man United games that are played throughout the current season.     EP 17 - 23/24 Season Review

    After myself & Marc starting off the season so strong uploading this pod on a weekly basis, we completely fell off it after I went on holidays to Spain. We do apologise for the complete lack of content, but can you honestly blame us? This season for United and Chelsea fans was pretty f*****g awful (excuse the language but it was), with both clubs having their squads decimated with injuries - United finishing 8th & getting knocked out of Europe at the group stage, Chelsea finishing 6th & losing a League Cup final. However United finished on a high beating City to win the FA Cup, making it back to back seasons with silverware under Erik Ten Hag. We review the season, discuss both managers (one getting sacked, the other came dangerously close to it) and squads, have a look at Uniteds new takeover and structure, transfers and the summer window is touched also touched on. We hope to be back with a new episode before the 24/25 season starts. Thanks for listening!

    EP 16 - Something To Build On

    Well the last 9 days was eventful for United and Chelsea, with United losing to Bayern Munich 4-3 but getting back to back wins against Burnley and Crystal Palace as the vast majority of the squad and fans back Erik Ten Hag. Chelsea lose 1-0 to Aston Villa but beat Brighton with the same score line in the League Cup. With Man City knocked out, the competition is now wide open for the other “Top 6” sides. More injury woes for both Chelsea and United as we look to the coming games at the weekend with United taking on Palace again at OT, but this time in the Premier League and Chelsea play away to Fulham. Lastly we briefly touch on Antony being available for United and their game at home to Galatasaray in the Champions League.     EP 15 - Mid-Table Masters

    A feeling that is becoming all too familiar so far this season, as United lose 3-1 at home to Brighton and Chelsea fail to score away at Bournemouth as the match ends 0-0. Myself and Marc reflect on the weekend games and discuss if we are both in for a long, long season. Erik Ten Hag remains under some pressure as the media begin sharpening the knives - is history starting to repeat itself once again for another United manager? We preview Bayern Munich vs Man United in the Champions League, and look at the weekend games with Man United going away to bloody Burnley and Chelsea play Aston Villa at home.     EP 14 - From Joy To Despair

    The international break is over and we return to discuss Chelsea’s 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest, with Marc losing his 28 game unbeaten streak at Stamford Bridge in the process. Marc thought if Forest scored first Chelsea would really struggle against the low block, will this be a theme throughout the season for The Blues? We also reflect on the Arsenal and United game with mystic Marc correctly predicting the 3-1 win to Arsenal but does that score really reflect the game? In what has been a very difficult season already for Erik Ten Hag, the club now has to deal with abuse allegations involving a second United player & the fallout with Jadon Sancho as the club appears in disarray. Lastly we preview the weekend games as United take on Brighton at Old Trafford and Chelsea go away to Bournemouth (I almost went a whole episode without ranting but Marc pushed the Harry Maguire button and I go off on one).     EP 13 - To The Victors, The Spoils

    We return on the Eve of Transfer Deadline Day to discuss the Chelsea wins over Luton Town and Wimbledon, as Marc speaks about being at the Luton game with friend of the show Waylon, and how it was being back at The Bridge. We look at United’s 3-2 win against 10 men Nottingham Forest, recent injuries with United players, transfers for both teams, the Champions League & League Cup draws and lastly preview the weekends coming games as Chelsea take on Forest and United meet Arsenal away at the Emirates.     EP 12 - Rant FC

    Myself and Marc return as I rant for 33 minutes about the state of Manchester United, the 2-0 defeat to Spurs, Greenwood leaving the club, Uniteds Top 10 transfer sales and how some of the fan base/media are starting to turn on ETH already. Marc then discusses the disappointing 3-1 loss to West Ham, breaking news on a Chelsea striker and if Chelsea will struggle against the lower teams this season. We also preview the coming games at the weekend as Marc travels off to see Chelsea vs Luton, and I relax on my day off to see United beat Nottingham Forest (hopefully).     EP 11 - We Have Kick Off

    On this episode we reflect on the two opening games of the 23/24 season as Chelsea took on Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, and United faced Wolves at Old Trafford. We also hear briefly from a Liverpool fan and their thoughts on the game. Lastly we quickly go over some transfers as Chelsea make two huge signings to their midfield at the expense of Liverpool, as United hang onto Harry Maguire…yeah.
