Ep. 8 Season 2 Ritika & Eran - Sattva Sanctuary

Ritika and Eran are the founders of Sattva Sanctuary, Australia. It is the first of its kind, a sister center to the primary Sattva Retreat in Rishikesh, India. Anand Ji came to visit this incredible land first as it was just taking shape. After sitting a deep meditation in the Yoga Shala surrounded by towering gum trees and wild bushlands, he rose up and extending his blessing for this Sattva Sanctuary, he said, "This is a place where people can go deep." Eran and Ritika work alongside this beautiful land to bring nature's vision to life. They talk about that creative process with the perspective of true yogis. They are leading examples of what it means to be householder Yogis. Together they live an integrative life of spiritual devotion as the foundation. That integrative spiritual life has blessed them to raise a daughter, operate international businesses and be the pillars of the Sattva Sanctuary. If there was any reservation that a spiritual life needs to look a certain way, Ritika and Eran are the total myth-busters! It is all a life of spiritual devotion and practice that has been the driving force for the way things have unfolded. As both householder Yogis share, it is a fine art to listen and allow that great power to guide you. Both Ritika and Eran are masterful Jyotish (Vedic Astrologers) supporting the community with open arms and the integrative practice of Sattva Yoga. Their expertise in the area of relationship consultation brings a very relevant application to this timeless Jyotish wisdom. Next time you're passing through Byron Bay, Australia, make sure to stop into the Sattva Sanctuary for meditation, yoga nature walks and a cup of chai! www.sattvasanctuary.com.au www.ritikaflow.com www.livingholistic.life www.sattvasanctuary.com.au www.ritikaflow.com www.livingholistic.life @sattvayogaacademy @ritikaflow @living_holistic @theanandmehrotra @maxiji

Ep. 6 Season 2 Dalia Gencher - We Are the Time

"We are the time." It is statements like this that are left ringing in our ears, in our inquisitive minds, that Dalia, slams down on the table in this full food-for-thought episode of SWWP! As a leading Sattva Yoga Teacher and Jyotish (Vedic Astrologer), Dalia's razor sharp insights into current events, cosmic scale timelines, and the theme of surrendering to the great mystery of life itself, are just some of the big topics tackled in this great conversation between Dalia and podcast host Max.   Dalia and Max are Sattva siblings! The journey into Yoga has been a lifelong journey, or better yet, a continuity of lives, lived in the direction of greater awakening that these two souls have undoubtedly walked together before.   Without failing to recognize the specialness of having a sibling to walk alongside on the spiritual path, this conversation explores great cosmic questions with the familiarity and quirkiness that only siblings share.   Dalia leads in the retelling of a childhood memory where their mother Tanya, a Sattva Jyotish in her own right, taught them Vedic mantras at the age of 5 and 7. As a family of Vedic astrologers, there is a lot of teaching to go around! Meaning that a family of teachers is also a family of students whether you want to be taught or not! Dalia and Max find a back and forth flow in this episode that pushes each other's ideas further. Anand Ji says every family needs a Buddha. In the case of Dalia and Max, it seems each Buddha of this family has their work cut out for them as they are continually inspiring each other to go look deeper within themselves. Dalia is an expert Jyotish who has supported so many amazing people, healers, yogis, and conscious leaders during this year of intense growth and change. Join in on this conversation to hear all about how Dalia is working as an incredible conduit for the Vedic wisdom and Jyotish science. @sattvayogaacademy @sattvawarriorsofwisdom @sattvamusic @daliagencher   @maxiji

Ep. 5 Season 2 Georgia Talcott - The Sattva Farmer

Georgia Talcott is Sattva's very own organic Farmer. Every morning she rides her scooter up to the organic Sattva Farm, which is en route to the world famous Neelkanth Shiva Temple, a holy pilgrimage sight. From the stunning terraced mountain farmland, you feel held in a womb. On this farming plateau surrounded by mountains on all sides, one gets a sense for the way this land has been farmed since people first settled in the Himalayan hills of upper Rishikesh. The Sattva Farm is an initiative to re-enliven that same original intent with farming these beautiful hills. Fresh, organic, local farm-to-table produce that is grown sustainably and in harmony with the seasons. Georgia, who had been practicing yoga in the West for many years, came to Sattva primarily to get her hands into farming. Needless to say, her expectations for the yoga training she signed up for were exceeded tremendously. Can you believe it? Coming to Sattva for farming and only then realising that not only will she continue her yoga practice, but that she will be studying at the leading yoga school in the world?! As she came to understand her practice like never before through the transformative teachings led by Anand Mehrotra, her commitment to her farming grew alongside it with gusto. She has become an integral part of the Sattva Farm team. Tune in this week to catch up with Farmer Georgia Talcott in this eye-opening episode of the Sattva Warriors of Wisdom Podcast! www.sattvayogaacademy.com www.sattvamusic.com @sattvayogaacademy @theanandmehrotra @sattvawarriorsofwisdom @maxiji

Ep. 3 Season 2 Rachel Hunter - Weaving Tapestry

Super Model, actress, conscious leader and Master Sattva Yoga Teacher, Rachel Hunter. Rachel is an integral teacher and mentor within the Sattva Yoga community and joins us today from her quarantine in New Zealand... her 3rd quarantine to be exact! Having been in India for the early part of last year as the pandemic broke, Rachel found herself secluded, away from her family and in deep meditative silence in India's south. She underwent a self-initiated process of deep Sadhana. That meant little to no contact with the "outside world" as she delved into her practice of Yoga and Tantra. The year then weaved its way to America where she set down her bags just long enough to then go visit her children living in London, England. Finally, as Rachel returns to NZ, she is elated and also tested by the physical distance between her and her children. She shares a tale of the trail stitched together over this year, revealing a grand tapestry with many triumphs and challenges. When Rachel starts speaking with Max, you know it's a life of living Yoga that Rachel draws from to then relay in her insights shared. There is a reservoir of experience born out of self-practice and mastery that, once it meets us, is her wisdom. This makes her ability to communicate these life transforming teachings of Yoga with such naturalness. Rachel's ability to find words of her own that expound upon the yogic teachings, scriptures and mystical arts is something that has been refined and cultured in this year of isolations, both self-imposed and official! This conversation is a great exploration of uncharted territory, unrehearsed topics and best of all, laughter and bloopers that are left in the final edit for you to join in on the fun! Rachel's teachings, retreats and yoga classes can be found on her website in the link below. https://rituals.rachelhunter.com/ @rachelhunterx @sattvayogaacademy @sattvaconnect @sattvawarriorsofwisdom @sattvamusic @maxiji
