Remembering Your Best Friend. A Dog Bereavement Podcast.

Today was one of the saddest days of my life. My dog Molly was diagnosed with tracheal collapse. It took 5 different vets who misdiagnosed Molly and nearly 14 months trying to find out exactly what was wrong On this day also my Mom passed 12 years ago so I chose this day to have Molly pass over. I’m beat, so emotionally exhausted and miss her deeply. We were together for 15 years. She was the best friend that I ever had. My heart is so heavy. I’m glad to find this podcast . I just said goodbye to my 13 year old Jack Russell Terrier today (28th March 2025) which felt unfair and unjust, as this breed is known for living many years. Hearing the encouragement and support in this podcast (episode 2 was especially helpful for me today) is precisely what God has sent to my aching heart.

This is very helpful for me as I’m grieving the loss of my sweet dog who suddenly died at only 9 years old. Our family of four is devastated and in great pain and we are taking it one day at a time hoping to see be day be better me the other and feel like we can start a new journey with a new dog since our house will a just so empty without one. The episodes are short, clear, easy to understand and relate to. The voice is calm and you really do feel compassion and happiness understanding to your pain. Thank you.
