The Second Annual Untimely Awards

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the awards ceremony that everyone has been waiting for is back. Unfortunately, we went on for so long on this one that all our audio tracks mixed into one, so the edit is a little rough. You might hear Liam having a little un-COVID-related cough in the background, but that's about it. Right Back At It, Again!

Well, well, well, look who's come crawling back. It's us, we're the crawlers in this scenario. How are you? Been a while, but we're back! We had a bit of a mare, with life getting in the way of a lot of things. Max has been recovering from that life-changing spinal surgery we spoke about, Steven has been globe-trotting with his work and Liam has just been doing his best. In this episode, we're talking about the stuff we missed out on while we've been gone. We also get into our opinion on Domino's, a show Liam is obsessed with called Bar Rescue with its insane host and some other stuff happens too, but you'll have to listen to find out what it is! What's happenin, everyone? This episode we're using our thinking brains (again) and we are making legacy characters out of existing characters. Does that make sense? Untimely (Original) Comics

This week, we decide to do (for free) what people get paid for. We decided to write our own comic arcs. If you listened to the end of the last episode, we know that the character Liam gave to Max was Ant-Man. The character Max gave to Steven was Rocket Racoon. And I (Liam), thanks to Steven, was burdened with Gambit, possibly my least favourite Marvel hero. Even below the Whizzer. It's funny because of his mongoose blood. All Gambit has is a weird sock mask. And cards. You can charge up any object in the world and you choose PLAYING CARDS?! This isn't the time or place for that. Untimely… things Max hasn't read

Oh my god, it's been a while! Not gonna name names, but SOMEONE on the pod is disabled and had possibly life-altering surgery and is recovering well, so here we are. This week, we (Liam and Steven) realise that Max has read nowhere near enough weird comics that us champions have, so we make some suggestions as to how he can broaden his reading. We look at some mega weird stuff. Steven even brings along one of those backwards Japanese ones? What are they called? Mangos? I guess there's no way of finding out, so we'll never know.
