Wouldn't it better to be body neutral?

It has been a while but WE ARE BACK and boy does it feel good. In this comeback episode we get stuck in to thin privilege, self-love, fatphobia and the role of social media as we question the body positivity movement in true Kaleidoscope style. Has the body positivity movement been hijacked? Is ‘positive’ the best way to feel about our bodies? We enjoyed having a good old debate with differing views. Essentially, what I am really saying is: listen to Bella tame my characteristically fierce side for a minute, by helping me not be so quick to judge others. (Maybe next time I will manage to take Bells to the fierce side hahaha) Thank you my bubbly Bells. We would also like to add that this episode was recorded on the 29th May, prior to the murder of George Floyd. We were not sure of a good time to release what now seems an off-topic episode considering the circumstances. Sorry if parts of the episode feels out of touch. Both of us have been spending our time protesting, donating and educating ourselves on anti-racism.

Why Can't We Just Be Average?

Tune into our very first episode: “Why Can’t We Just Be Average?” Listen to us discuss perfectionism, expectations, identity and very randomly talk a lot about potatoes… You can also find out what film/TV/podcast/art recommendations we have for you this week. We created this podcast as a space to engage in discussion about aspects of our society. We turn the kaleidoscope to look at culture and social issues in different and challenging ways, and we have a lot of fun doing it! We can’t wait for you to hear it.
