Friday Reflection: "I Was Never A Christian" A Monologue

As well as long conversations with Shawn, we thought it would be a good idea to introduce shorter, weekly episodes on our podcast channel of things that are closer to our comfort areas. Having been involved with performing for many years, I've grown oddly comfortable with sharing parts of myself with total strangers, and I hope to make this series no different. "Reflections" is just that: a reflection of my own struggle, perhaps my own biblical ignorance and naivety, and my own feelings about life, love, faith, and much more. This episode is a deep personal struggle of denial as well as a confession long in the making. The title says it all; I must confess that up until very recently, I was never a Christian. It is only now, after experiencing extreme, doubt, loneliness and shame, that I've allowed myself to accept true grace and forgiveness from God. For the majority of my life I thought and claimed enthusiastically to be a Christian (follower of Jesus the Christ).  I never was. Sean Feucht VS. The World

In this episode we discuss the actions of rogue worship leader and Bethel recording artist, as well as leader of the Hold the Line movement: Sean Feucht. The claim of the Hold the Line movement is simply that the government is holding down the church and not allowing us to worship properly. This conversation springboards us to further discuss the current outbreak as a whole and the Church's response as a whole.   Please consider making a one time donation through our anchor podcast website at: anchor.fm/verygoodchristianpodcast or subscribe to our Patreon page as we unveil our tiers and what goes into them.   Follow us on instagram or parler (not twitter) @VGCPod  facebook.com/verygoodchristianpodcast    With Love...

VGC Confronts Jeff Durbin Confronting the "WOKE" Church

In this episode we react and give our thoughts on controversial Pastor of Apologia Church Jeff Durbin's recent speech against other church leaders he believes are pushing a "woke" agenda.  It's no surprise that Apologia Church finds themselves in the spotlight of controversy here. Durbin is primarily known for his debates and unapologetic attitude towards atheists, Jehovah's witnesses, pro-choice women, members of the LGBTQ+ community, mormons, and most likely any other group who thinks differently than him.  It's not our objective to be confrontation toward Jeff Durbin or any members of Apologia Church, but more to give our thoughts on his latest viral speech against other schools of thought.   **Very Good Christian Podcast is a purely listener funded podcast. Friday Reflection: I Wish I Was A Baby Again" A Monologue

Welcome to the first installment of Blair's solo series "Friday Reflection"  As well as long conversations with Shawn, we thought it would be a good idea to introduce shorter, weekly episodes on our podcast channel of things that are closer to our comfort areas. This episode aims to capture the innocence of my daughter and her need for me, her father; as well as my struggle with crawling back to the Lord in times of frustration, difficulty, and the like. It's a call for ALL Christians to embrace childlike faith and learned knowledge of Christ instead of childlike attitudes and learned behavior.
