    Pleasure is so freaking hard to reach for even on a good day. Right now, during the pandemic, it can feel impossible. Which means, of course, that there is a tremendous payoff, if we can manage to do it.     What the f*ck is Spiritual Striptease?

    Spiritual Striptease is a movement practice that I created over the last 20 years and that I love to teach. In this episode, I talk about the 3 things that Spiritual Striptease is, the typical experience of a SS event, what makes it different from yoga, who it's designed for, if it's for you if you don't want to get naked or don't feel comfortable with your body (yes, it's so for you...) and what uniquely transformative power it gives a woman access to.     What kind of mother are you?

    When a woman becomes a mother, she can fall under the tyranny of all of the rules, assumptions, constrictions and expectations of what a mother is and what she does. What happens when a woman doesn't fit the narrow mold of "mother"? What happens when she doesn't want to flex and shrink and mutate her creature to fit inside the narrowness of existence that is acceptable for a mother? In this podcast episode, I share what kind of mother I am - selfish, loving, rebellious, inappropriate, mean. In this way, I hope to free you so you can renegotiate, reimagine and recreate motherhood in exactly the way it suits you. Enjoy.

    The decision on whether motherhood will MAKE us...or BREAK us

    In this episode, I talk about the first few years of motherhood when I felt like a steamroller of domesticity was going to roll over me and flatten me forever...and that my back was against the wall and I was fighting for my life. It was in the midst of that, that I made the decision that motherhood would MAKE me and not break me. That has been the core of all of my practices, techniques, identity shifts, failures and successes and GREAT learning over the past decade. Enjoy.

    7 Survival Tools for Queens during the pandemic

    If you're like me, you have been scouring the universe for ways to survive this time. For ways to beat it, fight it, surrender to it, accept it, resist it, make your way through, THRIVE AND FLOURISH!, stay positive, stay realistic, stay.....you. I know you have the things you have learned, the tools, the things you have learned HELP and the things that HURT. And you probably sometimes do the "good" things and sometimes the "bad" things, which makes total sense because, like me, you are human. This is not an exhaustive list or the final word on tools I am using but it's what is current and real and helpful for me now. I hope that something here helps you, inspires you, gives you permission to do something new or reinforces what you are already doing. Enjoy!

    Relationships - building juice or building walls?

    Like most of us, the relationships in my family have been the biggest source of frustration, rage, heartbreak and challenge...as well as the biggest place of growth for me. Man 'o' man, it has been hard work to maintain being friendly, patient, kind and generally NICE with all of us together too much and exposed in all of our....glory. I am not a relationship expert so I'm just sharing what is working well in my relationship with my husband, in case it is useful to you.     Superpowers and defaulting programming over how we use them

    This is a topic that really fascinates me.     The Body, Impulses and Aliveness

    Lots of things have happened inside our bodies this past year. All that has gone on has shaped our energies, our sensuality, our sexuality, the way our body moves and stands. I've been quite obsessed with the body over the last 10 years and wanted to share some ideas and invitations I have to more towards an integrated woman - body, mind and spirit. It's juicy stuff and some of what I really need these days...!
