    Episode 22 - Il profeta, Kahlil Gibran

    An example from the book podcasts I will begin publishing in late December, at the end of my double spiritual quarantine. Discussion and reading of Gibran's Il Profeta, in Italian (tr. GF Brambilla) and a little in Maltese (tr. Victor Fenech). I enjoyed recording this very much. -- La bibliothèque du Nannu Frank is the name of the podcast series. Our future open library (and book rental) on Homer's mountain will be La maktaba di Don Pablo. The two names are perfectly equivalent. Dun Pejx is much more than a traveller cat. (Now sedentary, and almost a month outside without the ċinga.) He loves shelves, and being read to. Especially in French, for some reason. -- I have always wished to share the joy of literature, outside the system of school and the production line of university. They mould more than they teach. Enjoy the podcast. This morning I recorded one on Mogol and Lucio Battisti, and tomorrow I might continue to read from Ibby Okinyi's The hitchhiker's guide to not hitchhiking, a humble little bible. They will be uploaded in January, with an 80-day delay. I am neither following nor responding to the ever-manipulative news cycle. -- How I missed long hours of reading in my previous crazy, over-structured life. In a way, in many ways, losing my freedom of movement is a blessing. Barka mis-sema.
