The Real Story About The Last Few Months

The last few months have been the hardest of what feels like my life. I struggled severely behind doors. I shut people out, broke down and allowed myself to create this circle around me. This circle included severe anxiety that caused me to not only be able to go to school, but leave my room or be with family. I finally took the real step in the right direction to healing. This journey has not been easy but it has been eye opening. The last Month and a half i have spent in a PHP (partial hospitalization program) for mood and anxiety. This has been extremely difficult to leave school and my everyday structure that I had. I had t rebuild the structure within my new plan, where i went to therapy for 7 hours 7 days a week. This process want easy but i wish i could say i hated it. This program taught me the skills and confidence I've always been looking for. Although this is only the beginning of my journey to heal I'm proud to share my story and cant wait to continue to. My story will be different then each and everyones, but my story is just as real and as important. YOUR mental health matters. YOU matter. I hope by having a look into my mental health journey it will remind you that we all have struggles big and large.
