    Episode 21 - Don't Be Disappointed

Yesterday was very interesting. Woke up with a heart of thanksgiving and high hopes of expecting great news. You get to that moment and it was nothing like you pictured, expected or even hoped for. The enemy comes in like a flood but sometimes it's also just human error because they were not even paying attention. Let's just say I was very, very disappointed and getting so angry to the fact where I had no words. Skin boiling hot and face turning red, lol. In the moment I did not thank God but stayed quiet because I did not want to say anything to go against the Word of God. However, I am very thankful for a husband who talked me down and covered me. God You're amazing in sending him to me. As I reflected midday and journaled...yeah it was unfortunate it happened. Yeah, I was very disappointed. Yeah, I could have completely lost it. But God was there to keep me and remember what I should focus on - Him. That's why I cast all of my cares on Him because He truly cares for me. And the peace of God was able to rule my heart. Thank You Lord for loving on me! I want God to love on you as well as we go boldly to the throne of grace to cast all of our cares of disappointment, disservice, dissatisfaction, disrespect and every denial on Him. Let's be in expectation for His peace to rule our hearts. Prayer Scriptures:  Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD , thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  Philippians 1:6 - Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:  Isaiah 40:28-31 - Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD , the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.  Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths. Colossians 3:23-25 - Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men, Knowing [with all certainty] that it is from the Lord [and not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your [real] reward. [The One Whom] you are actually serving [is] the Lord Christ (the Messiah). For he who deals wrongfully will [reap the fruit of his folly and] be punished for his wrongdoing. And [with God] there is no partiality [no matter what a person's position may be, whether he is the slave or the master]. Hebrews 11:6 - Without faith no one can please God. Whoever comes to God must believe that he is real and that he rewards those who sincerely try to find him. 1 Peter 5:7-8 - Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Episode 20 - Heart of Thanksgiving

There is nothing like going to the Father with a heart of praise and worship. Thanking Him for everything we need, want and desire. Thanking Him for the big things and little things. Thanking Him for just being God! When we choose to have a heart of thanksgiving, everything around us is no longer at the forefront. We can't dwell on the bad when we focus on God. I encourage each and everyone of you to continue daily to go before God with a heart of thanksgiving. Prayer Scriptures Psalm 118:24 - This is the day which the LORD hath made;We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 100:4-5 - Enter with the password: “Thank you!” Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him. For God is sheer beauty, all-generous in love, loyal always and ever. Psalm 7:17 - I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness; I will sing the praises of the name of the Lord Most High. Psalm 9:1 - I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. Psalm 35:18 - I will give you thanks in the great assembly; among the throngs I will praise you. Psalm 69:30 - I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving. Psalm 95:1-3 - Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. Psalm 106:1 - Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Psalm 107:21-22 - Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind. Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy. Psalm 118:1 - Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Psalm 67 - Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.

Episode 19 - It Won't Be Long Now

Tired of being tired?! Can't wait any longer???? Question - How many times do we tend to look at the timeline of projects or things we are believing for? Question - How many times do we get impatient with God because He is taking too long? You want things to happen now and change in or favor right? I mean we live in a day and age where we expect and desire instant gratification to grow. Less work -> greater reward. That's not how it works!!! Those who diligently seek Him first, gets the reward. Seeking Him requires time with Him. Praying with Him. Dwelling with Him. Abiding in Him and spending time with Him. Yes money is great. Leading and leading and being popular may be good too, but I wanna be where God resides. He keeps me in perfect peace while I am patiently waiting and doing my part until change comes. Amos 9:13 - 15 (MSG) - Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree. Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel Yes, this is God's decree for you to keep believing and stand strong. Run race that God has set for you. Not another person's race. It's your race you have to finish and your race you have to run in. I hope you enjoy this episode on patience! Scriptures in Prayer: He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to dropouts. For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind.' Isaiah 40:27-31 Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward. For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised. But the just shall live by faith [My righteous servant shall live by his conviction respecting man's relationship to God and divine things, and holy fervor born of faith and conjoined with it]; and if he draws back and shrinks in fear, My soul has no delight or pleasure in him. [Hab. 2:3, 4.] Hebrews 10:35-36,38 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7) Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”Matthew 11:28-30

    Episode 17 - Just Believe

When we truly believe God’s Word and what He can do, we can fully trust Him to bring it to pass. Don’t get discourage of how long it takes. Focus on the process of believing until it manifests. We set our hope on the One who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we can ask or think. Choose to Believe as we go boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find help just when we need it. Praying Scriptures - But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him. ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:6‬ ‭AMP‬‬ - But I really believe that I will see the Lord’s goodness before I die. Wait for the Lord’s help. Be strong and brave, and wait for the Lord’s help. Psalms‬ ‭27:13-14‬ ‭ERV‬‬ - And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us. And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him. 1 John‬ ‭5:14-15‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ - ...all things can be (are possible) to him who believes! Mark‬ ‭9:23‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ - And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it]. Mark‬ ‭11:22-24‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ - So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬ - In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians‬ ‭1:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬ - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬ - And whatever you ask for in prayer, having faith and [really] believing, you will receive. Matthew‬ ‭21:22‬ ‭AMPC‬‬
