    The Truth Behind Our Relationship After Kids (ft. My Husband)

    The hubby is back! On today's episode, my husband Tyler joins us again as we talk about how our relationship has changed since we have had kids. We started off as a young couple living in a basement welcoming a baby, to married parents raising two toddlers and balancing work, our relationship, and...life. We cover three amazing articles about marriage issues and strengthening your relationship, talk about the major problems we had as new parents, and SO MUCH MORE. We give our opinions on having different parenting styles, "keeping score" in a relationship, and sex after baby. Does having children ruin your marriage? Does it make it stronger? Listen to us babble and banter as we use our own story to show that your relationship does, in fact, change when you have babies. (Shocker, I know.)

    I Lost Everything & Then Found Myself

    Welcome to season two! Today's episode kicks off the second season of Mom Chats, and I wanted to start off very vulnerable and share a story I rarely talk about. When I was twenty, I found myself at rock bottom. I lost everything around me, and went through the most life changing situation that made me question...everything. And then soon after, I met my husband and became a mom. Was I reckless? Was it right of me to become a mom while still healing myself? Today's episode is a deep dive into the topic of healing the wounds of your childhood while being a mother and the idea that perhaps, sometimes, you need your babies to save you.

    Looking Back at 2020

    I cannot believe we are a few days away from 2021. Thank God, am I right? Haha just kidding. In today's last episode of the year (and this season), I share the five things I learned this year and my two favorite quotes I have recently found.     This topic is something I am so passionate about. I struggled to breast feed and pump my first son, and I had a completely different mindset with my second son. There is such a stigma around giving your baby formula, and this episode dives into all of it. I share my two experiences, what my nurse told me that I will never forget, and why you need to do what is best for YOU.

    The Scary Reality

    Today's episode is a little heavy, and it was not what I originally had planned, but I felt so strongly that it is a topic that needs to be talked about. I recently heard a terrifying story of a mother who was out with her children and they were almost kidnapped. This is a gut-wrenching, scary reality that happens on a daily basis - and although it's sometimes easy to think that it would never happen to you or your family, it could. I recorded this episode not to be heavy or terrify anyone, but in hopes of raising awareness and mindfulness of how important it is to educate yourself, protect yourself and your family, and be aware of your surroundings. We're all in this together, mamas. XO

    Today's episode is one that I have been looking forward to sharing: postpartum. I had the privilege of sharing stories from two strong, brave moms - one of which is currently experiencing postpartum anxiety, and the other who struggled with postpartum depression with her first daughter. These stories are SO REAL and SO RAW, giving you inside look into what they feel / felt on a daily basis. I also share my postpartum experience and emphasize how important it is to talk about how you are feeling.
