How To Find The Best Version Of Yourself

The church version of you shouldn’t end on Sunday... You know that heartwarming feeling you get when you’re at church or listen to an amazing sermon online? You know like when you just feel so amazingly full of God’s love and you feel like you can tackle literally anything in this world? I know I feel so amazingly confident that I am certain that with God I can do anything… But then as the week starts, that feeling starts to drift away… The world starts to fill with so much noise that causes a cloud of doubt to form… That cloud slowly starts to thicken and weaken the confidence that you felt only a couple of days ago... Until eventually you feel completely drained and unlike your confident Sunday self, you don’t really think you can tackle anything anymore… And that feeling absolutely sucks! But... What if you could feel like you do after a sermon or after church, EVERY SINGLE DAY!? Imagine the things you could accomplish if you felt full of love and confidence in everything you did? The thing is why can’t we feel that good every day? It feels as though we put a limit on ourselves that only allows us to feel that amazing for a limited amount of time… Which is ridiculous! We are missing out on so much with this mindset! But the good news is that… We can break that cycle by making the effort every single day to thank god for his blessings! To thank God for his continuous love! To revitalize and invigorate our heart and mind by spending time in his word! When we take the time to shift our mindsets each day we are opening up our hearts to that amazing feeling we know and love… That feeling of confidence, the feeling of surety in our God! And when we are in that mindset and in that feeling. We are unstoppable!

Free - 3 Day Stay in Giant Whale

Imagine you were searching for an air BnB or hotel and you came across an Ad that said “Exclusive 3 days, 3 night stay Inside of a Whale.” So you scroll down to see what unfathomable description could follow a title like that. “Hey everyone, I have an extremely rare opportunity for you to spend your weekend getaway inside the belly of a giant fish! Comes equipped with a completely cushioned living room and sleeping area. There is a complimentary breakfast in bed consisting of half-eaten, locally grown fish! This is seriously a once in a lifetime experience! Please note: We are not responsible for any skin bleaching, or permanent mental scarring.” I mean honestly at first glance I would be super intrigued! The Ad did say it was a once in a lifetime opportunity... But realistically, could you truly imagine being swallowed by a whale and then living to tell the tale? Our friend in the bible Jonah sure did! If you unfamiliar with this story then here's the recap, God asked Jonah to go to a large hub of a city and proclaim to the people there that they need to repent for their ways are evil. Instead, Jonah got really scared of God, travelled the opposite direction of the city and jumped onto a ship! While on the ship God hurled a bunch of wind towards the ship causing the crew to panic and throw Jonah overboard because they found out he was the problem. God then scooped up Jonah in a whale! Jonah then from prayed to the Lord from within the giant fish with a renewed heart and so the whale then upchucked Jonah back onto the shore. Jonah then went to the city he was supposed to and proclaimed God's message and the people there listened to his message! How does this apply to our lives today? Well... Now I don’t know about you but we have had our fair share of Jonah moments in our lives…. Thankfully, not literally, but figuratively… Moments where we know God is calling us to do one thing and we are scared so we do another… Even on our Journey in creating this business to help others achieve their successful lifestyle, We knew we needed to make the Lord our foundation… We knew that the only true way for us to find success in our lives and in our business we needed to surrender to God... It’s easy to write on paper, but it takes courage to actually be open about that… Shamefully just like Jonah we failed at doing that so many times, we tried to find ways around it… We thought “I know Gods telling us this, but… I think we will just do our own thing over here because it's less intimidating.” Inevitably we ended up getting swallowed up by a “Whale” ... We spent thousands of dollars trying different eating plans, different exercise regimes… We started and ended so many businesses, programs, courses… We spiralled into a dark place of unhealthiness, of doubt, of darkness… But then we tried something, we started praying and remembering just how amazing our God is… We stopped focussing on the fear of what God wanted us to do and instead started to surrender to him instead… Do you know what he did? He brought us back to shore, he made our whale get rid of us… We are here today to proclaim the amazing news of our God!

Doubt Is Like A Hungry Lion

Doubt is like a hungry lion…  Weird statement hey? But let me explain… If you haven’t yet heard the story of Daniel in the lion's den... Then please go read about that guy's story after this post! It's crazy! But as a quick summary... Daniel was a very righteous man who served a very powerful king…  There were some bad people who also worked for the king and really didn’t like how faithful Daniel was towards his God and so they tricked the king into making a law that pretty much was directly made against Daniel so that he would break it and be punished… The penalty of that law was to be thrown into a lion's den! Pretty crazy, hey? Could you imagine breaking a law and instead of going to jail, you're literally fed to lions? Anyways, Daniel is then thrown into this lion's den for the night and these lions are seriously hungry… It seemed almost inevitable that he would get eaten… But then something crazy happened, God literally sent an angel and shut the mouths of the lions! (Daniel 6:22) Absolutely incredible! But what does this have to do with doubt? Doubt is just like those hungry lions that were ready to eat Daniel… They were just sitting in there den, starved, angry, ready to demolish anything that came near them… Just like a hungry lion, doubt is always ready to strike at any time. Doubt is waiting to tear you down and stop you in your path. Doubt doesn’t care what you are trying to do and who you are. But do you know what's more powerful than any hungry lion or doubt in your life? That's our Heavenly Father. Daniel knew this truth and had such amazing faith that even when he was cast into the lion's den, God came and shut the lion's mouth because he was taking care of one of his children - Daniel… God will do the same for us in our lives too! When we have that doubt that's right in front of us, ready to strike... We don’t have to fear because we have a powerful God who will carry us through! When we have faith and do our best to honour God in all that we do, he will shut the voice of doubt! He will give you the strength to push through the night! To push through your circumstance, and enter into the victory that we have already been given through Jesus! So... When you're on this journey of starting your succesful lifestyle, don’t let doubt scare you or stop you… Instead... Push through, rely on your faith to see past the doubt, to see past the circumstance and instead focus on the amazing outcomes that are sure to come! “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” - John 10:10

Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread

Are you a “What’s Next” kind of person? What I mean by this is do you find yourself constantly worrying about what’s in the future compared to what’s in front of you? I CONSTANTLY find myself doing this… If I eat healthily or have a delicious meal I will literally be thinking about what I should be having for my next meal before I am even done with the one in front of me! Or another big one I have gone through is… Right after I pay all the bills for the month I am already trying to figure out our finances for the next 6 months just so that I can be prepared for it In both circumstances, I am always pushing my mind to think of “What’s Next”... I honestly started to get so frustrated thinking this way, because I was never fully satisfied with what I had or what I accomplished because I wasn’t actually living for the day, I was living for the future. The problem with this is that right now, today I am alive, happy and healthy, but I have no idea what tomorrow brings… Something could happen tomorrow that could alter my plans for the future entirely… So why was I focussing so much on the future? Well honestly after asking myself this many times I came to my answer… I was scared of uncertainty, I was scared of the unknown… To counteract my insecurity I tried to plan my way through it…. Obviously, that never works, as well all know Life rarely goes according to plans! But even having this knowledge I was still always catching myself focussing on the “What’s Next” mentality, even though I knew I was wasting my time and I truly was starting to miss out on the enjoyment of so many amazing things that were right in front of me… Until… One day I had a major realization! When Jesus gave us the Lord's Prayer, it says clearly in 6:11. “Give us this day our DAILY bread.” Not our weekly bread, not our monthly bread, BUT OUR DAILY BREAD This made me reconsider everything, all this time I have been wasting, trying to plan every single thing for my future and what I do next and meanwhile Jesus is telling me to just ask for what I need today! This meant that I needed to give up control of my future, and instead, rely on God to provide the things I need and to plan the future… I needed to stop trying to control the outcome and instead control where I was putting my focus… It wasn’t easy and It’s something that I work on every day but when I make the conscious effort to put my focus and reliance on God instead of on the future and my own plans… Well, everything turns out way better than I could ever plan because my plans are limited to what I can see, but God's plans have no limits! So when you make the decision to start your healthy lifestyle, don’t worry about how you will maintain it a week from now or a month from now… Instead focus on today, deal with what is in front of you and put your reliance on God. That way you will always have success!
