We Should All Get Naked!

What do you do to get out of a funk? Some people listen to music, some people eat food, while some people like me get naked and pose in front of a camera ;) In this episode, I share my experience doing a boudoir photography session. I also give some tips that helped me throughout the process to remain calm, comfortable and sexy! I challenge you to listen and also do something that makes you feel sexy this Valentine's day weekend. #DatingWhileBlack: How Well Do You Know You?

#DatingWhileBlack is a series that explores all aspects of dating as Black Women. We will discuss everything from finding a boo, to online dating, to nurturing healthy relationships (sexual and non-sexual), and lots more. But first, we've gotta talk about ourselves. Dating without putting in the work to get to know yourself is a recipe for disaster and heartache. In this episode, my guest Selena and I discuss our personality test results inspired by Shan Boodram's book "The Game of Desire". We also chat about our dating histories, what we want in a partner and where we're currently at with dating and relationships. Black Hair is BEAUTIFUL!

Black Hair is BEAUTIFUL! However, getting to the point where we fully embrace and love it can sometimes take a while. In this episode, we discuss hair journeys, bad hair experiences and how that has shaped my current relationship with my hair. How do we learn from our past to ensure that the next generation of Black women doesn't experience the same horrible things? Birthday Reflections: To Stress or Not to Stress

It's my birthday in 2 weeks and this year, I want to give you a present instead! I'm offering you a message of encouragement for times when you feel like life is passing you by and you are not exactly where you thought you'd be. There will be ups and downs, there will be moments you despise and moments when you can't stop smiling, but my prayer and hope for you is through it all, we have peace. Peace to weather the storm. Peace to know that this is not the end. Peace to guide us through to our final destinations.
