    Episode #003: Tal in London and Ontario

    In this podcast, I speak with another colleague and a former roommate of mine. We discuss our time working in Ontario during the current COVID-19 pandemic as well as our time working in London as teachers. Tal had worked in London for almost two years as she stayed on for her second year of work through Engage Education. Fun stories and real conversations between us of what we thought London was like to work in.     In this podcast, I speak with another colleague and a great friend of mine. Again, we discuss our time working abroad as teachers. Like me and Christine, Jessica has been teaching for the past 3 years and taught in Martinique in her first year as an English teacher through TAPIF (Teaching Assistant Program In France). She had an absolute blast abroad and cherishes her time, especially in light of the pandemic. How she found the job, her living situation, stories, education and more in this podcast! Like me, Christine has been teaching for the past 3 years and taught in Strasbourg France in her first year as an English teacher through TAPIF (Teaching Assistant Program In France). She had an absolute blast abroad and tells her story of the positive experiences and friendships she made.     Hey everyone and welcome to Teacher’s place podcast. My name is Erik\ and I will be your host here. I am an Ontario based primary school teacher with three years of experience under my belt. I have worked in the UK as a grade 4 teacher, China as a kindergarten teacher and now York Region, Ontario as a grade 2 french immersion teacher. This podcast will focus on education-based topics ranging from curriculum discussions, working abroad as a teacher, education opportunities outside of teaching and many more.
