    E03 - Privacy Settings in Relationships

    In a modern world where full (online-)privacy seems to be less and less achievable and the expectation is for us to be available and reachable 24/7, Evya and Anais are debating how much privacy we should be entitled to, throughout the different stages of a relationship. We’re covering the early stages of app-dating, and the difficulty of balancing the desire to be seen by potential suitors as who we really are, and the need to remain “safe”. Also, at which moment does it actually makes sense to move the conversation to texting, WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook and to delete the dating app altogether? And the million dollar question: should you delete all photos of your exes … ? We then touch on the very sensitive topics of stalking online and “last seen” statuses, establishing daily texting cadence and even allowing your better half to have access to your phone. Last but not least, we discuss whether to protect or to advertise your relationship in the eyes of the public, and roll our eyes at the absurdity of couples who share a joint Facebook account...

    E02 - Death Sentence or Life Imprisonment?

    In this second episode of What R U Gonna Do,  Evya and Anaïs discuss the controversial subject of Death Penalty vs. Prison for Life.  While we're pondering on which crimes might actually warrant which sentence, we're also trying to understand - on a purely hypothetical basis - what seems like the "best" option from the point of view the sentenced individual, and also from the point of view of the individuals whose loved ones were harmed.  Not leaving any angle out, we're also exploring the dimension of sentencing individuals who are not guilty (or for whom evidence is not crystal clear) and reflecting on whether prison for life might be considered a fair enough punishment or a "cushy way out".  It's been a quite controversial conversation this time around and while the conclusion is not crystal clear, we still came up with some great movie recommendations we'd like to leave you with:  The Shawshank Redemption - Drama with Tim Robbins (IMDB's #1 Movie of all times) The Green Mile - Drama with Tom Hanks Life - A comedy with Eddie Murphy Law Abiding Citizen - A thriller with Gerard Butler The Devil Next Door (A fascinating Netflix docu-series relating to the trial of an alleged Holocaust perpetrator, 40 years after the event)
