So I like to think that, with the pressures that come with motherhood and doing the work of self discovery, the outcome on the other end of that pressure is a beautiful diamond that shines bright.     Adey Chekol on Rebuilding her Life After Divorce and Taking a Social Media Break

    Adey Chekol is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, working with the body, mind and spirit together for transformation that goes beyond the physical body. As a single mother of two, a working mom and a woman with such an incredible journey, Adey is full of so much wisdom and experience. I was honored to chat with her as she shared her childhood as a young creative, the devastation of losing her mother at a young age, a divorce with young children in tote and her journey to discovering her true self in the midst of it all. I could have talked with Adey for several hours. She’s calm, thoughtful in her responses and full of great insight in Motherhood and self discovery.     Timert Shimelis is a blogger, a podcaster and the founder of an incredible platform, Unchaining Me. In this episode, Tiemert gives us a look into the unraveling and unchaining process that took place in her life, how her early childhood experiences shaped her identity and became a catapult for what she would later experience as an adult and her mission to help other women undergo the same unchaining journey that she has embarked on Her personal experience with depression has equipped her with specific tools to not only help herself, but influence and empower an entire community of women who typically shy away from conversations about mental health due to cultural stigma and taboo. Her genuine ability to share openly and courageously is captivating and inspiring. Motherhood comes in all shapes and sizes and in this episode, I have the honor of chatting with Ruta about the journey that led her into the Air Force, how she manages being a mom and wife while serving our country, and why structure is important in order to build the life you want. Ruta is straight forward about the challenges of balancing motherhood, her career, marriage and aspirations. She likens her role to running a business, saying “Your marriage and family IS your business, so you have to operate it like one."
