    Who better to hear some empowering stories from than 2x world Karate champion no less! Deanna is a business owner and entrepreneur. Martial arts expert & pro athlete. Running & operating martial arts schools for the last 25 years! She has been through some profound challenges growing up from the age of 12 and will be telling you all about it warts and all, so keep listening! Deanna - who is also respectfully known as Shihan, has a black belt in martial arts and competed professionally. She her Academy Academy at just 30 years old  called Red Karate Dragon Deanna has always been a force of nature when it comes to achievements and her accolades speak for themselves. Working in a male dominated industry, she faced more challenges than most people and dealing with members of the opposite sex was quite a harrowing experience. Not only did she have to fight off abuse, she dealt with sexual discrimination for the next 30 years! Featured in the Women’s self defence segment on the KMIR today show One of the top power women asked to come present for the get fit event in 2014 Red Dragon Karate was featured by KESQ Channel 2 News a part of a special news segment Works for the LGBT and instrumentally supporting a number of Pride events Featured on “the rise” web series and Palm Springs tv channel part of CBS and Channel - an affiliate of NBC Deanna also partakes in a number of voluntary activities supporting the homeless, helping them better their lives as well as being an Ophelia and speaker She is one of the highest-ranking females in history of her organisation. The martial arts pushed her though to become confident and the successful woman she is today. Deanna’s  motto is “to push forward and take care of yourself . As an adult he’s made the extraordinary effort to re-socialize himself into a human being — a healthy, educated black man who respects women, Celebrates Diversity, and supports the equal rights of all people. His journey represents the healing that’s possible when we use negative emotions for positive change and learn the skills we need to treat others equitably. Kemy dreams of creating a world where we rise above segregation, hatred, and violence to heal our past traumas and ensure the safety of all human beings.
