Hello, we are Indigo and Erika and we started this podcast as a way to share our conversations with whoever is interested. We met on the Hinge dating app and really felt we had a unique connection that resulted in long conversations that involved various topics that may not be so popular within the mainstream vein. But they are topics that most people may be already curious about but just don’t get around to spend time and explore them. We try to not make things scripted and just be ourselves and talk about things that matter to us and maybe you might want to listen along and join in!

    Uncertainty: Why do we fear the unknown?

    Hello! Welcome back to the Deaf Eyes Podcast and to the new year 2022! We’ve been on a little hiatus and Erika goes solo again for this episode and for the time being maybe will be solo for a while and she explains why. In this episode Erika shares her experience with fearing the unknown and how she manages to be more positive amidst the fear and what tools she uses to better her state of mind to better understand herself and what others can do to help themselves gain back their power and feel empowered to make better choices for a better future. Because even though the future can be unknown it doesn’t mean that it has to be one of endless suffering and hopelessness.

    In this episode Erika goes solo and talks about the current changes that everyone is being forced to cope with, and the power that we are giving away by our acquiescence to the new regulations. She also addresses how we all have to really stay aware of what we accept and allow into our lives by the choices we make in terms of what we give our attention to and how to best use these new forms of communication as tools; rather than distractions to keep us numb to the abuse of power being carried out right in front of our very eyes.
