Wow. Baruch HaShem - my quest to find relatable, relevant, digestible pieces of online Torah content in the Podcasts app is finally complete. I have been looking for so long for *the right* little classes to listen to when I’m on the go, making my breakfast, etc - and for so long I’ve simply “made do” with a variety of options which were “just okay.” If you’re somebody who has searched the Internet for a similar type of short, accessible Torah class, you’ll know that the majority of stuff out there is either a. Not on the PodCasts app and therefore more difficult to access, b. Way too long and spread out over an hour of Shiur, or c. Simply not as engaging as it could be.
These Pirkei Avot Shiurim from Rav Rudy truly hit the nail on the head. He gets in there, delivers the content, gives it a personal touch, a touch of relatability to daily life, and then gets out without rambling or droning on. His Torah is pleasant and at no point is it “caught within the hedges” - instead it remains directly to the point and emotionally potent throughout. Thank you Rav Rudy for bringing me the type of Podcasts-based Torah content I’ve been searching for, for literally a lifetime. May HaShem bless you and keep you.
