Centered in Christ Meditation is a Christ centered guided meditation podcast. Most of the meditations will be combining the Come Follow Me curriculum with meditation. Occasionally there will be bonus episodes with other Christ centered meditations.

    Centered in Family (The Family: A Proclimation to the World, December 13th - December 19th, 2021)

    Families are complex, and they all look different. In this meditation, we will repent for the areas where we fall short, offer gratitude for all that is going well, and create something new for our families.     Centered in Ease (Declaration 1 & 2 and Articles of Faith, December 6th - December 12th, 2021)

    Are you making your life harder than it needs to be? Often times we ignore the promptings of the Lord thinking that our logic is better suited to direct us. In Declaration 1, Wilford Woodruff encourages the saints to use their agency by listening to the Lord. During this meditation we will reflect on areas where we are allowing ourselves to overly complicate our lives. Music provided by Addison Kirk. REFERENCES: “The question is, wether it should be stopped in this manner, or in the way the Lord has manifested to us” (Declaration 1). “‘All are alike unto God’ including ‘black and white, bond and free, male and female”’ (Official Declaration 2). “Is [there] anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy” (Articles of Faith 1:13)?

    Centered in Possibilities (D&C 137-138, November 29th - December 5th, 2021)

    There is so much we don't know. But, we do know that answers come. Joseph found answers to his questions about his brother Alvin, and his answer was incredible. What answers have you been waiting on? In this meditation, we get our minds and spirits in the right place so that we can find the answers we are seeking. Music provided by Addison Kirk. REFERENCES: “All who have died without a knowledge of this gospel, who would have received it if they had been permitted to tarry, shall be heirs of the celestial kingdom of God” (D&C 137:7). “Sometimes revelation comes even though we do not seek it. But more often, it comes because we diligently search and prepare” (Come Follow Me for Individuals and Families, pg. 207). “Reflecting upon the great atoning sacrifice that was made by the Son of God” (D&C 138:2) “[Your] eyes [will be] opened, and [your] understanding quickened” (D&C 138:29).

    Centered to Prepare (D&C Nov. 15th - Nov. 21st, 2021)

    In this meditation, we focus on the Savior’s loving kindness as he affectionately helps us prepare for His return. Music provided by Addison Kirk.  REFERENCES “Prepare yourselves for the great day of the Lord” (D&C 133:10). “Let not your flight be in haste, but let all things be prepared” (D&C 133:15). “They shall mention the loving kindness of their Lord” (D&C 133:52). “Prepare ye the way of the Lord” (D&C 133:17). “Sanctify [ourselves]” (D&C 133:4). “The weak shall confound the wise” (D&C 133:58).

    Centered in Priorities (D&C 129-132, Nov. 8th - Nov. 14th, 2021)

    In this meditation, we will discover our spiritual priorities by preparing our heart and tuning into the areas that we can more fully show obedience. Music Provided by Addison Kirk. REFERENCES:  “When I am worried about the daily obligations, it is hard to notice the spiritual opportunities” (Gladys Wilde). “Prepare [our] heart[s] to receive and obey the instructions which [He is] about to give unto [us]” (D&C 132:3) “Same sociality...coupled with eternal glory” (D&C 130:2).
