J & J on Jazz

Jeff Antoniuk is one of the most gifted educators I have ever encountered. I’m not just talking about music educators; I’m talking about ALL educators and ALL the subjects I have studied in the course of my long educational career. Jeff has the ability to break down complex concepts into small, manageable segments and guides you through the progression of steps necessary to acquire facility in the Bebop tradition. Through studying with Jeff, I have experienced multiple “light bulb moments” where I thought: “Oh, so THAT’S what my high school music teacher was trying to teach me 40 years ago” . If I had had a teacher of Jeff’s caliber back then, I might be famous today lol….
James is also a great teacher, not to mention a monster trumpeter. The combination of Jeff and James riffing on various improvisation topics is not to be missed!

Jeff’s teaching is so VALUABLE

There are few like him out there, with such clear and understandable language for addressing even complex topics, I could listen to these lessons all day. His analogies are just as great too HAHA!
