    On this episode we are discussing gym class in public school. Does it actually help students with any life skills? Does it teach kids how to be team members? Or do sports do that? We also talk briefly about sex eduction. Content warning: mentions of bullying, suicide, sex, and fat shaming.

    Trigger warning: mentions of abortion, sexual assault, rape, and suicide. Mom and dad are coming in hot with this episode discussing two of the biggest issues going on in the country: Texas passing the no abortion law and still being in a pandemic. These topics could be explored even more, but we are giving the highlights on what our points of view are.

    Episode 6 - Welcome Back

    After a 4 month break, we are back with a shorter, casual conversation just to check in and give some life updates (surprise! baby A is here). Since we are now parents, we end up giving our point of view about men/women’s rights in pregnancy and close the episode with a fun fact about each other.

    This week we are finally catching up with you after a little more than a month of not recording. We named this episode “random moments” because we turned on the mic and just started talking about several different topics.     Episode 4 - New Year, New Parents

    This week we are catching back up with you after a few weeks by talking about our experiences catching COVID and what we did for New Year’s Eve. We then jump into our main topic about parenting our future child. This discussion was requested by a close friend and we felt it was fitting since this is the year we become parents! The episode wraps up with an impromptu version of “Fun Fact” and “Unpopular Opinion”. We hope you enjoy this weeks point of view.

    This week we open up with a quick conversation about our family traditions around Christmas. We mention some other traditions/activities that differed in our households before diving into the main topic about unwanted disclaimers. These are those phrases people use to make them seem less judgmental...and let’s be honest, less racist. We wrap up the episode with unpopular opinions and a fun fact about each other.

    This week we talk about Thanksgiving and ask each other if mac and cheese is a Thanksgiving side dish or not. We then get into the main topic of the episode where we discuss how Black people have grown accustomed to acting a certain way around non-black people, yet this behavior is not reciprocated. Finally, we wrap up with another week of fun fact about each other and unpopular opinion.
