S3:E11 Christina | Therapy When We Need it Most

Here at Fatigued Podcast, we're big advocates for taking care of your mental health, which is why we interviewed Christina this week! She's a licensed therapist based in NYC (and married to that Ben Jeffrey guy we keep bringing on our show). For all her talk about introversion, she sure is a bubbly light in this time of grief. Speaking of grief, we break down some interesting behavior we've seen in the last year and a half and discuss our responses to this wild and crazy time. Give it a liste...

S3:E10 Daffney | Respiratory Therapist with No Breathing Room

This week's episode is slightly longer than usual. It didn't feel right to cut any part of our conversation with Daffney because the last year and half has been a specific type of hell for her and we appreciated her vulnerability and honesty. She's a respiratory therapist and has witnessed countless deaths in the pandemic. We touch on everything from our opinions on anti-vaxxers and getting doxxed on tiktok, to vaccinating her 12 year old and putting people on ventilators. In spite of her yea...

S3:E8 Nandani Marie Sinha & LA Opera | Treating Covid Thru Music

Our special guest this week is Nani Sinha, who uses her background as an opera singer to help other people regain their lung strength after their battles with Covid. Important & Witty

Caroline & Raymond are providing us with stories that desperately need to be remembered. This podcast brings light & humor to coronavirus, and also provides room for reflection in how us as the listeners are currently living our lives in a pandemic. I love to hear the perspectives from each host as well as the different guests they’ve interviewed. Keep it up, such a good listen!

What is going on here?

I listened to the episode on parosmia (which I suffer from) hoping to get some answers/insights on this horrible post-Covid symptom. The interview was fine but not sure why the hosts randomly dub a guitar sample while people are talking?? This happened four times on a single episode! Clearly it’s added in after they’ve recorded but it’s distracting and odd. Hopefully the hosts find their rhythm (sans guitar) and learn to not stumble over each other in the process. Other than that content is decent.

Powerful conversations with lots of golden nuggets

While we still know so little about this deadly virus, all we can count on are the experiences of our friends who have battled it firsthand. That’s why these conversations are so important and so meaningful. These raw, open and honest reflections are sobering for those of us whose lives and loved ones haven’t yet been touched by the virus... who view this community grief through a more distant lens.

Sometimes it’s one individual story that snaps everything into perspective. That’s what this podcast does. With poignant disclosures of loneliness in isolation, colorful accounts of strange new symptoms, enlightening realizations about the pandemic as it affects everyone differently and resolute epiphanies after life-altering illness—you’ll find yourself storing lots of nuggets of wisdom along the way. It goes so much deeper than a discussion about symptoms.

Caroline and Raymond bring ease to emotional subjects and flow to deep conversation. They’ll remind you that you’re not alone, that you’re stronger than you think, that you’re more accountable than you think and that, even though the future is uncertain, our actions and efforts still matter.
