Getting Heated with Mick Fanning and Ross Williams

Love hearing Mick’s opinion on this stuff. How can listeners submit topics?!

Mick and Ross are always well-spoken and insightful, but they are often making predictions for events that have already aired before the podcast, so it’s not that interesting. When Coco gets to speak her own mind in other podcasts she’s interesting, but it seems like she’s only allowed to read prompts from a script aloud in this one. There’s no impromptu probing, questioning, or even reaction to Mick’s or Ross’ comments. I’d appreciate more unscripted women’s POVs not only here but elsewhere in WSL.

I really love the content of this show, but come on WSL, you can’t cough up the cash to give everyone real microphones? I was patient through the first few episodes, figuring they were just settling into the new show, but it seems like there is no plan to treat this as a serious endeavor and make it sound better than people talking to each other through plastic cups connected by a string. Respect the high-profile talent by giving them the equipment to sound like professionals.
