    Juneteenth

    What is Juneteenth? [Corrections: Shay misspoke in this episode-slaves were free in 1865 not 1965] ***Juneteenth, also referred to as Jubilee Day, commemorates the day that slaves in Galveston, Texas were notified of their freedom. News of freedom for the 200,000+ slaves in Texas did not come until about two and a half years AFTER the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation.     Episode 4: Coasting

Are you able to discern between when someone is trying to control you verses when someone is looking for cooperation from you?  Do you think therapy should be free? Do you think that free therapy is something that the government may one day provide to its people? How could that be possible? Although we don't have the answer, we would love to hear what ideas, plans, or concerns you have about being able to be provided with free therapy.  The artist that is mentioned in this episode is Ibiyinka "Ibi" Alao, a Nigerian-American United Nations Ambassador for Art.
