    It is my absolute joy to feature Dr. Michael Dumont, who is Anishinaabe from Shawanaga First Nation, on this episode of Science & Sage. Dr. Dumont is a father, a family physician, and a fierce advocate for the integration of Indigenous ways of knowing into his practice. In this episode, we talk about his journey to medicine, decolonization, allyship, and navigating the demands of this career.     Back after a short hiatus, I talk with Dr. Aldred about her path to medicine, the ways she claims her space, and how she advocates for changing the culture of medicine.     Episode 1: Walking in Two Worlds

    In this episode, I have a conversation with two of my dear friends and Indigenous colleagues, Ciara and Tanis, about navigating our identities in medicine, and what our experiences have been like so far. Disclaimer: The sound quality at the beginning of the episode is shaky, and there are a few moments through the episode where it doesn't sound perfect. It does level out, so bear with us! This podcast was recorded remotely due to COVID, and we did our best. I think its worth it. :)
