This podcast focuses on helping parents and carers understand the potential impact of pornography on their children, and what can be done about it. Much of the content in this podcast comes from the work of Maree Crabbe from “It’s Time We Talked” which is a violence prevention project that seeks to prevent pornography’s harms to children and young people. Maree Crabbe has worked with young people – and on issues affecting young people – since 1993. She has developed and delivered programs focusing on sexual violence prevention, pornography, respectful relationships, sexting, and the prevention of sexually transmissible infections and is currently undertaking a PhD on young people and pornography at the Queensland University of Technology.
