Daveed and I go way back, and we crossed paths when we were both back home for the pandemic. We talk about music, Daveed's creative journey, some of the inspiration he has had. This is a story of the power of grunge rock to make shady workplaces a romantic getaway and seasonal depression a downhill slalom of black sludge. I do not know what that sentence even fully means, but welcome to this episode.

    Filler Episode: Quebec, Driving, and New Music in New Places

    This week we talk about why I have been so horrible at keeping up with my show, particularly my move to rural Quebec and some of the music discovered in the meantime. I talk about music we listen to when driving, Andy Shauf`s new song from `Wilds` Jaywalker, some comments about Quebec culture (from my limited first-year Poli-Sci courses), and mention some of the music I was lucky to find at FME (Festival de Musique Emergente) in Rouyn-Noranda QC. Join me as I go where no British Columbian has gone before... actually, I am sure someone from BC has come here at least once... but maybe not who knows!
