Lux Cast Presents PATRICK GARLAND (US) @Proton Radio

We are extremely elated to have PATRICK GARLAND as our 2nd Special Guest of EP 43 of Lux Cast. @patrick-garland-241330807 About Artist: Patrick Garland (US) is a Melodic and Organic House DJ and Producer based in the high deserts of the Southwest United States. He bought his first set of turntables in 1997, deciding it was time to try his hands at learning the craft that was mesmerizing him at all the underground events he had discovered a few years prior, and that he kept coming back to out of what became an instant love for electronic music and the culture that was forming around it. Having had the opportunity to experience sets from artists such as Josh Wink, Carl Cox, Deep Dish, Richie Hawtin, Christopher Lawrence, Sasha & John Digweed, Patrick had found a home. By 2000, Patrick had moved almost completely into the breakbeat side of the scene, drawn to the powerful bass lines and deeply crafted layers found in sets being played by artists like Adam Freeland, the Plump DJs, Koma & Bones, Rennie Pilgrim, and Hybrid. It was during this time that he began to find himself wandering more and more into the House rooms at events. The move into Organic/Melodic House felt like a natural progression of having taken this path. His sound is shaped by layered melodies, warm grooves, subtle tension, and expansive storytelling. With his recent EP release - 'Secrets of the Petroglyphs' with Phillosopher on Keyfound, you can find more of his music and DJ sets from him through his residencies on the Melodic Lighthouse Podcast and on Organic Deep House Radio.
