There is an art to any that can wield words: orators, authors, singers and poets, and for this artistry I have the utmost appreciation. Words spoken are not immediately spent, they are more than the breath that gives them voice, more than the pen that gives them power. As a boy with book in hand, in reverie, I could reach and roam far off realms. The sky was not so far from my fingers now. And I learnt that with a bit of ink the impossible required only imagination. As I aim to discover my own words yet unspoken, join me on this journey as we go in pursuit...of poems.

And with his vivid and poignant prose serves us the line "to touch the face of God" a line later used by presidential speech writer Peggy Noonan to pen one of President Reagan's most storied speeches, regarding the in flight explosion and death of the crew of NASA spacecraft the Challenger Deep.
