    EPISODE #7: AN HONEST VENT, FEELING LOW, AND WE NEED A HOLIDAY!!!

    Hey guys (I guess hehe) Max and I take a step back to reflect on the year so far, remaining positive and staving off the dark thoughts, the benefits or disadvantages of having plans, and getting through general struggles.  Living in a family as big as ours, with everyone being such a big big BIG personality, although we love each other a lot, we also argue a lot also, and it's pretty darn DRAINING. Family is great, but independence is a luxury many can't afford at this moment, and that is difficult.  Just using the space to honestly vent and speak openly on our experiences. Honesty is key if ya wanna get closure on a lot of things, and this was necessary for us. Sorry if it ended up being a little bit of a downer, but we honestly love life! Be grateful for everything, but don't be embarrassed to feel less than ok. It's natural and it's necessary.  We also touch on life after lockdown and the potential fallout.  Everything we talk on is our own opinions, and should in no way be taken seriously or as a blanket statement/treatment for others.     EPISODE #6: INTRODUCING No. 5, ART, ANIMATION AND THROWBACK WEEKEND MORNING CARTOONS- POKEMON VS DIGIMON VS DRAGONBALL

    Hey yaaaaa'lll Our beautiful sister Christina "Eris" A.K.A No. 5 joins us in the "studio", and shares experiences with remote learning, lockdown blues, drawing and her opinions of anime. Which anime would you choose? Do you love the pokemon movies as much as we do?  As we three are all amateur animators, we discuss techniques, strategies and methods used in anime production, as well as our own work with stop motion.  I (No. 1) add my own twopence on anime subculture and development that I both observed and studied while living in Japan, and we discuss the price of being a perfectionist, ala Hayao Miyazaki and his treatment of his poor assistants.  We hope you enjoy this one! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.  Hey guys, how's it going?  Sorry for the long wait for this installment, but I (Maz A.K.A. No. 1) have been BURIED with finals etc etc BUT I'M BACK NOW YAAASSSS In this episode, Max and I talk about our experience with COVID-19, our symptoms and concerns after finishing isolation. Also discussed are COVID conspiracy theories and WHO, Storyfire's demise, Taiwan's COVID success, to Minecraft or not to Minecraft, and Disney's disappointing action concerning the animation studio Bluesky.  We talk about whether a big studio should be limited in their company acquisition, or should be allowed to grow into a monopolising entity in the industry.  We really hope you enjoy this one- it's probably our best so far!     Episode #1: PEOPLE WANT A TRAINWRECK, FIRST LOCKDOWN BLUES AND BEING NOOBS AT THE YOUTUBE

    Hellooooooo world! Welcome to our FIRST OFFICIAL podcast! We talk about how editing a podcast is a pain in the butt, and as you can tell – we’re still learning how it all works! Please be patient with us as we grapple with it! Max has just finished revising and doing his Mock GCSE exams, Maz laments the difficulties of editing a podcast when she’s such a NOOB, and both of us agonise over the last lockdown, motivational lows and how ridiculously amateur we are. We discuss mental health during isolation during the first and second lockdowns in the UK, the feeling of being trapped and enclosed. While Max was in the UK with our giant family, Maz was in Japan living solo in a classic tiny apartment building. What would you hoard, if you could only choose one thing? We recorded this session on December 13th 2020, a week before it was announced that we were to have yet another lockdown, starting from the 20th.
