    When The Levee Breaks

    You have clicked on what will duly serve as the newest installment from the absolute bro. In the last week, I have purchased and successfully hooked up a new subwoofer. A welcome addition to the ambiance of the podcast room. I now have a color changing lamp, four orchids, and a subwoofer surrounded by Pokemon figures. Life is good. This week alone I have boosted my Pokemon card collection substantially while also managing to trade undesired Pokemon cards in for store credit at a video game store, in return leaving with 3 vintage Game Boys and $70 remaining credit at the store. Wooooow. My name on my Pokemon Blue Game Boy is JuanDon and I already have a level 53 Charizard named Flokaflame.. After the honorable Wake Flocka Flame. In other news.. I was rooting for the Spurs to come back in the NBA Finals and make an interesting go at it, but I can't even be mad. Down 30 in the Finals at home in Madison Square Garden, out steps the highly favorable Wu Tang Clan. The group performs, then the Knicks proceed to rally around the Wu and complete the largest comeback in NBA Postseason history. I'm not mad. RIP ODB, Wu Tang is for the children.     Heart of Davy Jones

    Hello my loyal listening populous, welcome to another installment by the honorable bro. This is an installment based around my fancy carrying case that holds my favorite records. All genres, obviously. Lightnin' Hopkins, Hendrix, Frank Ocean, Jai Paul, Fred Again and more of the usual suspects are featured in this episode with no surprise. I have recently went back and watched some really good movies lately. My parents were in town and while they were here we consumed Kicking and Screaming (RIP Robert Duvall), Beverly Hills Ninja and Sandlot. All of which hold their comedic value til this day. After my parents left, in my depression I watched the first three Pirates of the Caribbean flicks and I have to say.. Those surprisingly surpassed my expectations and I'm glad that I revisited them. I always liked the Davy Jones character and I totally crush it as Jack Sparrow for Halloween. In separate news, I CRUUUUSHED it with Pokemon cards this weekend. Picking up vintage Japanese copies of both Dark Charizard and Sabrina's Gengar. Woooooow. WHOOOOO needs this beating. Thank you for being here. Yuuuurp. Your Host with the Most, DJ Witwickatron

    Peak Dust

    Welcome to what will effectively serve as my newest installment, Peak Dust. No theme or general direction other than the slowed and throwed Drake run, which was the idea that I referred to have had last episode. The One-Take-Timmy manual analog DJ Screwification of Purple Rain is probably my favorite portion of this episode. This is another late installment but I had family in town for a week, we went to a Western Conference Finals game. Got to see Wembanyamcheese. Today I had to bust up some local Pokemon hotspots and reclaim some lost territory over the week. Finally here I am to deliver the goods to ye the patient populous of the interwebs.     Just A College Dropout

    You have messed around and found yourself clicking on another installment from your favorite underground disc jockey on the internet. This episode, we flip through my Kanye catalogue. Vinyl only. So many bangers in this collection that I could easily do another Kanye episode equally as long, equally as good. I am a week late on the upload, for that I apologize. To try and inspire myself I looked at the stats of the pod. Clicked around and discovered a few things that are wicked hot. In the history of my tenure as a disc jockey.. We have managed 1,089 downloads in Asia, 874 in Europe, 131 in South America, 76 in Africa and 14 downloads in Oceania. All I need is someone to listen to my podcast at the North Pole and I'll have spanned the globe with my disc jockey audio radio thing we got going on ova hea now. Means absolutely nothing and I'll never make a dollar from this but holy smokes 14 downloads in Oceania fires me right up. Crushing continents with sound waves. Bing Bong.     The Chosen One

    Greetings to my loyal listening populous across the interwebs. Welcome to The Chosen One, an installment based around my favorite hip hop artist, Jay Electronica. I was supposed to go to an Electronica show last week that was canceled. This Jay-centric episode, however, is not cancelled. I hope someone out there enjoyed it. My favorite part of this eppy might actually be one of the intermissions. Action Bronson's new song Triceratops is right down my alley. I had a huge smile on my face watching Paul Wall in the music video. Also, outside of the Jay stuff, the A$AP Rocky Westwood freestyle over Everything I Am might be the most lyrically impressive example from this installment. In other news, I have been a menacing presence to the local Pokemon market as of late. This weekend alone I came up at least $800 probably somewhere closer to $1200 and I couldn't be more fired up about it. Crushing it solo but the past few weeks have been making super sick connections in the scene that will catapult me to local glory in no time.     Birds Come Home

    Hello to my friends and loyal listening populous via the interwebs. Welcome to Birds Come Home, what would effectively serve as the newest installment from your favorite C-List internet disc jockey. This weekend was RSD. Record Store Day for you absolute lames out there. I had it in mind all day but I didn't set up a lawn chair on the sidewalk or pitch a tent at the store. I had other extremely important plans that superseded my need to pitch a tent at a record store. I was busy advancing my position in the Pokemon realm. My game is undeniable at this point. More game than an arcade. I did make it to the record store with an hour to spare before close. I didn't leave with anything particular to RSD but I did leave with a sealed copy of Fred Again's Actual Life 2, which has been at that record shop in the same spot for a while now. I was waiting for an extremely tasteful local individual to pick it up. I was secretly hoping to look for it one of these times and find someone had bought it. That someone was me on RSD. A nice memory. This was a nice episode to me, I can't really pick a favorite part because most of it wasn't half bad. Maybe the Isley Bros on 45 take the cake with That Lady because of how distorted and synthed out the guitars sound on my copy. Thank you as always for lending me your ears and trusting my musical taste. Insider baseball, we're actually doing it Keisha. Checked recent stats and we're building in numbers. It's been around 4 years but finally seeing some growth. Almost 700 downloads this month and I'm extremely grateful and fired up about it. Serious thank you to whoever clicks on these things. I'm trying ova heeea. I'll be here with a super nasty Jay Electronica episode next week. If I can make it back from the concert. If not, there are worse ways to go.     Fire & Self Control

    Hello once again to my loyal listening populous across the internet. Welcome to what would effectively serve as the most recent melancholy musical installment presented by Tremendous Opinions Podcast. Heavy with the slowed and throwed this week. I have no clue why Be Yourself and Solo aren't sequential on the Blonde album. The sudden stark contrast is beautiful. That's why I blast them B2B all the time if there was anybody out there wondering. Keisha, to get further in depth about the UNC hire.. Last week before anybody even said Michael Malone's name I was having a conversation at work. Out of nowhere I said "You know who I really like?? ... Mike Malone from Denver". I randomly remembered Malone and didn't consider him as a real possibility. I really do like and believe in Mike Malone. That being said, I'm still out. Out of respect for Hubert Davis and what is right. I reluctantly hand in my fandom resignation letter to the UNC basketball program. I will remain a fan of the football program for now because I saw Randy Moss was at their practice today. Who cares anymore. Relocate the Dean Dome. Name it something else and reallocate the building use it for a bird sanctuary or an indoor pickle ball extravaganza. Build a whole new arena 40 minutes off campus, let's name it the Hasbeen Center and let's do everything in our power to break the longstanding tradition of excellence and moral obligation of this beautiful history filled organization. Let's leave it in ruins. The great Lenny Rosenbluth passed away and I don't feel too good myself. God bless Michael Malone best of luck but I wash my hands of this nonsense. I know he was an assistant coach to God Shamgod's run to the Final Four with Providence. I UNDERSTAND THAT. I understand that he was the offensive architect for LeBron's Cavaliers years. What I also understand is that I was force fed the Carolina Family thing my whole life. I bought into it and I will refuse to bow to this foreigner from the north. I humbly resign.     Honey Bee Blues

    Hello to my fantastic listening audience across the internet. Welcome to the latest installment of my podcast. I've been a busy boy this week. Mourning the loss of a head coach, paired with the end of the season for the Heels, planting a flowerbed and exponentially expanding a Pokemon collection in a weekend really can take it out of a fella. I watched the first half of the Dook Uconn game today and left the house in an upset storm around halftime to deal with my Pokemon affairs. Left the house angry because Duke was winning by 20, not thinking in the least that Uconn would come back and have one of the best finishes I've seen in years. Wow I do love this game. My favorite time of year if I'm being honest is still the fall because of the trees in the mountains. BUT March is a close second because of things like that Duke Uconn finish. March Madness makes it fun to be alive for a month. I did finish dead last in the bracket pool that I entered. Saint John's let the boy down. Tough cheese. I hope some individual out there enjoyed the episode. Honey Bee by Muddy Waters and company really kicks the mule. Prince on Plectrumelectrum is suuuuch a nice tone and still to this day, Jimmy Page playing No Quarter at The O2 Arena in my opinion is the best example of guitar playing that one could offer. Whoever reads this, God bless. But you're here so what the heck. In four months I've managed to find and maintain a loophole in the Pokemon card world that has allowed me to catapult rather quickly to an impressive collection. A card shop owner this week told another customer that I most likely have more than enough to become a vendor at card shows. I believe that he is right. To give a visual, it is currently 5 full binders of modern, 2 full binders of vintage and a huge tote box full of the more fancy stuff. All sorted and organized. I felt like the Daywalker at that card show this weekend absolutely going nuts in there and balling out of control. No shame at all. I'm a 33 year old man with more game than an arcade. I handed an ol boy a handful of cards for trade value earlier today. I read this guy like My Side of the Mountain. After seeing the top 3 cards in the stack, buddy looked up at me like I was Neo in the Matrix. "How did you know I liked this stuff?" his question to which I replied "Who doesn't like that stuff"? He gave a trade value offer and I cracked buddy for a nasty Mewtwo. WHAT AN EAR BEATING. The point is, I almost didn't have time for my ever-faithful listening audience across the inter webs because I was too busy balling out of control. Submitting this at midnight like Cinderella.
