    Instead of writing a letter, I decided that for this episode, I would just ramble to the brats about our life since September 4, 2021, the day Joaquin came into our lives. I wanted to tell you the story of Cochamó today, as it feels like an important place in my head.     Letter #2 - The calm after the storm

    So 2020 has ended. For most people in the world, it seems to have been a catastrophic year... but for us, it was the greatest year of our lives. We closed out the year with your birthday, Christmas, and daycare. I'm sorry that you're a Capricorn, that's probably why you can't walk or talk... not that I believe in that hoshposh. But your mother does, so I oblige. Apparently you're on the cusp of Sagittarius and Capricorn or whatever, so I guess if anything about astrology is cool, it would be the fact that you have two signs.     Letter #1 - One Year

    Welcome to Dear Bret. A place for me to keep audio recordings of letters I write to my daughter each week. Most of the letters will be about my own unique path in life as a father, and what I’m learning through it all. A real-time reflection of my life as it intertwines with hers. I’m hoping that one day, she might get something out of this... and maybe, you might too.
