A collection of short stories of adventures, and misadventures, from my travel diaries. I’ve built a raft, run rapids and lived off the river in Bolivia; cycled remote trails fending off ferocious mountain dogs in Turkey; found myself as guest of honour at a Bedouin wedding in Jordan; had a near death experience in Peru, and many other close shaves.
