    After This... No Looking Back!!

    Thank you for the return! We won't be before you long, we just wanted to take some time this episode and review our ALMOST completed season, season 1 of the Gettin Thru It Podcast. This first season, just like our first season of marriage, has completely shown our personality, been of ups and downs, and has wholeheartedly and authentically shown what it's like for us to get thru it!     Triggered

    I'm triggerrrredddd! Let me tell you! After watching Malcolm and Marie and going through my own stuff, sis was definitely triggered! This episode we talk about a recent and continuous issue that we've had thus far in our marriage. Something that we left out in this episode is that we've been in eachother's lives for over 10 years and dating as a married couple with young kids and not much of a support system is HARD! Marriage is HARD! But as always, thank you for gettin thru it with us and we love and appreciate each and everyone of you!

This episode is comparing the ideal relationship with family/friends and your spouse to our relationships with our families/friends. We touch on boundaries, handling conflict between your spouse and your family/friend, about having separate friends than your spouse, and we even have a slight disagreement (at this point, who doesn't expect us to disagree during a podcast episode haha).     Grief In Marriage

    We understand that this episode may trigger some feelings due to the conversation being about grieving. We are not trying to be insensitive to anyone's feelings, we are sharing our feelings and experiences with grieving. This is not a subject that you think about before you get married, but it is important. We all grieve in different ways and sometimes we expect our partners to understand or to do certain things.
