The League of Revolutionary Black Workers, one of the most important working class movements in US History, based in Detroit, Michigan were 2nd and 3rd generation northerners from the evil Jim Crow South, fought to end the exploitation and poverty of automotive workers against corporations and unions. Authors Jerome Scott and Walda Katz-Fishman describe the rise, the history and formation of the League of Revolutionary Black Workers from 1968 to 1971, challenging both race and class oppression in auto factories and within the United Automobile Workers union.
